Well a conclusion to the first omega test :S not very succesful considering only 1 person came but i understant its hard to get times in different parts of the world... soo what i would hope to do is since everyone is at school during the week : we can do it during the weekend in the groups : for change alpha team will be saturday 8:00 pm gmt+1 (only time i can) if you just want to go ahead a test with another member of alpha team then go ahead but please not with a friend thats not on any of the lists as i dont think tux wants it to be spread to a vast area of people..
Correct. But if you have someone you trust to test with you can ask me or marandule or have them post here, and I wouldn't mind adding them. Otherwise, save the public testing for the public, playable version

Todays test : Soo far i can report 2 bugs during my test with zeratul-101.
1st bug = what i did was buy a floating base and a nuclear laser ... i refunded the base first and then refunded the lazer in order to buy a floating fortress but it didnt seem to give me 500 minerals .... instead all i got was 38 minerals :S.
Ok. Thanks for pointing that out.

2nd bug = when a player dies ... we had 2 or 3 overlord miss placed unit error appear..
i think sumin to do with the overlord at the top left of the map.

That one I'm gonna need more information for. Was it a pilot death or a mech cockpit death? What mech mode where you in when you died, if it's the latter? What players were in the game?
QUOTE
I tested what I could in single player, and every time I tried to deploy my mech it said something like "Too close to map edge to morph". What am I doing wrong, Tux?
Oh, and also the vulture pilot description's last word is blue, while the rest of the sentance is white... it's blue because it's on a new line.
The text description I'll clean up later. Low priority at the moment.
The edge bug though has occured before, but I'm not certain why. What player were you? Were you away from the edge when the morph occured.
You know what, forget it. I'm just gonna remove that map edge schtick. I think I solved the earlier unplaceables problems anyway, and should at least assume Blizzard programmers weren't that stupid when programming the unit creation functions to not allow them to be unplaceable simply by being near the edge.
Ok, that cuts out my work for the next day or two. Thanks for the test. Anyone manage to get any fighting in?
