Well, I think I'll PM it to Snipe today, or tomorrow. NO LATER. It's not like I'm majorly working on it, I'm just tweaking it here and there every once in a while. I think that when we are done with the map, we can have a vote if we want to do what Vic says, or we can have a vote now. I, myself, honestly don't care what we do, it's fine either way.

ADDITION:
Sorry for double posting, but I was wondering how the progress with the obstacles was going Snipe? When you PM it to whoever (I think it's Vic..) tell me which Obstacle(s) you did and I'll add it to the list on the front page.

Also, I only did the first 10 switches but if someone wants to add more of them then you can figure it out very easily.

I am going to write this on the front page also, but if you don't check that I'll post it here also.


A problem I have noticed is a way me and Snipe did a few of the obstacles. We needed more than 1 trigger to do the obstacle, and that resulted in us clearing the switch and setting the one for the 2nd part of it, then that one clearing it's and setting the first. What this does is that if you finish the obstacle and it ends Switch #, but that obstacle is still running that sets switch # and clears itself, it will keep on running regardless of it being cleared. The way I have devised to fix this is to use P7's custom score. You simply use the same switch for each one, but at the end instead of clearing and setting switches, just change P7's custom score to the one that the next one needs. This won't affect you if you only need 1 trigger for an obstacle, but if it's big, you should be wary of this. I have already fixed Snipe and mine's obstacles.

I know death counters Shocko, but I think most of Clan Oo is more comfortable using switches.. speaking of which, if you guys want death counters let me know and we might incorporate them into the map..

EDIT: I am adding the basic template, if you guys want to design one that you think is sexy post it here or PM it to me and I might use it instead.

Why though? Death Counters are easy to do, easy to use, easy to edit and a lot more reliable.

Switches are just as easy to use, and most of us are more used to them. It's fine if we want to use them, don't feel like you have to contradict us..

I mean how we used switches for the changing inbetween, I just changed it to custom. I didn't change your obstacle Snipe if that's what you're thinking..

They're pretty fun Snipe, but the 1st one that you did has a free space in the center that makes it a little too easy.. o well yawn.gif

Leaderboard lapping is dumb since it goes off once you die anyway

wrong insane, u only need 3-5 diff triggers to fix that since different combinations of numbers are the same size basically... 234567890 are all same size, so u only need to change it when lives turn into the teens, example from 20 lives to 19 lives, and then ur good until 11, because a 1 is smaller...i've done lapped leader board more than once, and it worked fine

well, i was bored in math class so i sketched out the levels and i came up with some pretty interesting ones. should be done before the weekend.

T- does, and me and him have tested them and they are possible. T- will be done in a while he said, but he's working on another map at the same time.
