yo lethal if u read this sorry i havent been on SC got grounded im coming on soon i should still be a tester but iunno the last day i was on wooden had a big go at me coz i couldnt concentrate on his terrain coz i had a SUPER headache

I just read a post by Blackwinter in response to a comment I made about the music.. I'm "overly critical"? I said it was "alright". Uh, yeah, you guys really need to lower your deflector shields, you guys aren't flawless. The fact that you guys are willing to pay $50 on a Starcraft map is pretty scary. Can you say obsessive?

i think thats a concern aswell, money for a freaking map, sure youll be famous on sen for a good map but those regular noobs will allways stick to their cat and mouse (NOW WITH REF [/sarcasm) The fact that this music will be original still doesnt mean anything to me, i could so download something like fruity loops and make my own damn music for free, not as good quality but think about it, $50 for a SC map and the actual SC games are like $5 - $10 at most.

Note: noobs will not play coz of the intro im telling you wooden >_< add a skip >_<

but for a 5 dollar game with graphics as basic as something like tetras he could buy it like 10 times for the same amount hes paying for a few tracks, original or not, good or not -- SC just isnt worth the money -- you have to remember it is JUST A GAME its just pixels on a computer screen -- im sure a homeless person could do with 50 dollars instead of a game

Well, we arn't really gonna pay him atleast I don't think... my friend just said we might pay him if he does an excellent job.

We already set up a day. We are doing sit-down with him all day on friday of this week to collaborate what exactly I want and to put together a small CD full of music to review and make suggestions on. Loops and full songs.

I'd Just like to say: Good Stuffs. So what if he spent money on it? It's his cash. You should all be thankful that hes willing to spend so much time to make a great game for the rest of us bums. Go Wood!

Lethal just fixed a minor bug that stumped up all day with the battle system... just to let you guys know ><.

Anyways, there's nothing wrong with paying the guy. I mean, who cares if it's for SC. Wooden's put loads of his time into this map. And i'm not sure why people care about being 'famous'. Expecially in the eyes of the current SC Public, or on SeN. What do you mean it's JUST a game. That he shouldn't pay money to make a good map for JUST a game? People pay money for things on games all the time. There's no difference in this situation. Oh and by the way, homeless people would just go buy some liquor, or ciggarretes with 50 dollars If you really want to help them, give them directions to a homeless shelter, or somewhere for employment.

The best thing you could really do, is do them in game and as you get them perfect, save it to a Word Document so Lethal can copy/paste into the game.

Or we can get you set up with the most recent trigger copy and you can do the repetitive copy/pastin.

Lethal really wanted those laps ready soon.

Lethal and I decided to put a small minimap numberical display for Weight/Stamina while your walking around and comparitive Stats for all items.

You think StarCraft's graphics are basic? Each unit was modeled in full 3D. With a special tool they converted them into raster images, hundreds and hundreds for every unit. I don't even know how they make the terrain tiles.. there are hundreds of them in every tileset. There are also all the menus, interfaces, portait animation, videos in the campaign, animated sprites and explosion, etc. Anyone can draw a box for a tetris game, but StarCraft's graphics are a far cry from that.

I know it's totally off topic, but come on, don't be an idiot. You probably couldn't make a cursor as good as the one in the game.

Displaying item stats in-game will expand our orignial simple Slot system to become a much longer process for systems...

The systems within are getting to be a little complex where as multipul numbers are split into many to be algebraicly calculated for comparisons and stat usage...

Terrain is going well... Kinda.

For this week I already did...
-Removed over 150 mirrored tiles
-Replaced over 50 repetitive cliff faces
-Modified over 20 ramps
-Created 10 new ramps
-Reblended 3 custom grass areas
