On Topic(Slightly)
Here's a game that perfectly portrays why humans have fought wars... "Knights of Honor." If you haven't already played it, you should best get the demo now... Anyway, the point is, in this game, wars are the best way to flourish. You gain more provinces through conquering them, you gain more gold through plundering, you're Generals(Marshalls) gain more experience and thus, become more powerful, you can gain vassals, and victories in a certain province will raise that province's happiness, lowering the risk of rebellion. Basically, war brings you more then just power...it also brings respect...and brings your foes fear...and those are things that a country in opposition/danger needs...
Anyway, try out the game if you really need a better explanation on what I mean. It'll explain a hell lot better then I ever will...(Did I mention that you get to play on a huge landmass that mimics the real medieval europe in many many ways??)

Yes, that does make sense right there, but you're missing one thing. We've already been in space. If the tower of babble did exist, it would've NEVER been able to reach heaven. So why did God get mad then? Over the point, right? The point that people are trying to get into heaven.
Well, how come god didn't get mad at the people who were buying their way in? I mean, it's the same point. You can't BUY your way in, and you can't BUILD a tower to heaven, we know this. But god punished the people that built the tower though. Even though they were no different the people buying their way in.
Only defence you got left is just, "Well, you see, a lot more people built the tower of babble, than compared to just buying your way into heaven." I got more swords than you got sheilds right now when it comes to this topic.

Okay, you can't buy your way into heaven, and you can't build a tower into heaven. So think. Maybe the book says that because they didn't have a clue of how we got our different languages, so they made up that lame ass story.........?

Exactly my point. Just apply that to almost the rest of the bible, and you'll see how I personally feel about it.

I believe that World War III is right around the corner, if we don't do something. This "War on Terrorism" is rediculous (It is good that we got Sadam out of power, and it is good that we are giving the Iraqs' freedom) but we need to go back to how we were before WWII, Isolationism (I don't remember the direct term from U.S. Government) where we just focus on ourselves, and no-one else. Cause if we were to do that, we would actually create a surplus, instead of a deficet.

If you look at history, we did perfectly fine when we were Isolationists. We started butting into other peoples buisness back in the 1800's, when the Panama Canal was being created.
We had a certain doctorine (don't remember it's name) were we stated that no other country shall enter Noth Americas or South America. I like that, but we shoulda left it at that, and not gone all out.

You mean the monroe doctrine? Ya, it's still here today. It basically says, "Yo, this is our hemisphere. You guys don't colonize what so ever over here, or we'll have the right to go kick yo monkey ass." That's basically what it says.
