If I was asked in I wouldn't accept.
I still think that this is a bad idea and that excluding people because of your opinion of them will hedge out the wrong people for the wrong reasons.
I also think that the existence of this forum will lead to parts of the starcraft community becoming snobbish, and refusing to listen to new ideas.
I personally see this as part of (or maybe a symptom of) an old game's downfall.

ok after seeing all these posts i have changed to say the forum is a good idea. Only downside is what someone said about talkign behind ppl's backs, and how ppl will brag about being let in. I kinda took syphon for bragging. He didn't need to post that he was being let in.

I know for a fact there are tons of forums you guys can't see. Way more than one staff forum.
I already have enough forums to read, most of which I don't even bother to. Do you really need another forum to post in when you have an entire "history book" to read through. SEN is a community full of members who have been posting for a long time. Read, or better yet waste your time doing something more useful.
Why do you guys care if they talk behind your back? Do you really care what they think about you? What people think about you is not fact, its opinion. Opinion doesn't matter.
Forums were created for people with a need. The map making assistance was created for people who need assistance. The serious discussion is for the debaters who need to debate.
The "high templars forum" was created for the oldies to talk about being old.
I have been at this site since February 2004, and I only have 365 posts, yet I visit these forums almost every single day. I refrain from posting spam, only when I have something useful to add to the conversation. I am sure that almost nobody knows about me here, but I don't care.

Seriously, if I was in your shoes awaiting an invitation, I would just act the same as I do, not complain about it. Yes, I said this many times before, but those who complain about it are the reason they aren't allowed to be in it in the first place. Be patient and don't mention it, debate right, don't flame, and you might just get an invitation.
