I'm a guy, so to me they're pretty sexy (depending on the looks of the girl wearing them), only when it's some ugly girl is when I'm totally unattracted to her.

Other than dress clothes, guys' and girls' outerwear isn’t really all that different.

We both have closets full of sweatshirts, basic t-shirts and pairs of jeans and khakis. But, when you peel those layers away, it is a whole ‘nother ball game.

Underwear is very different between the sexes.

One probably won’t find an entire store dedicated to men’s underwear anywhere in the mall, and what is acceptable on girls will bring about shudders of disgust when any mention is made of guys wearing the same thing.

An overwhelming amount of girls backed up this statement.

“When a guy wears a G-string, that’s just a definite ‘no-no,’” said Megan Herz, freshman in animal sciences and industry/pre-vet. “It doesn’t really matter what guys wear, boxers or ‘tighty-whiteys,’ as long as they are changed regularly,” said Herz.

However, most other girls are very adamant about seeing men wear boxers.

“I like boxers, anything else is just kind of weird,” said Sheridan Larson, sophomore in secondary education. “I don’t want to see them in a thong. That’s just wrong.”

Megan Hopkins, junior in art/photography said she agreed.

“I like to see guys in boxers. I like cute boxers, ones with little stripes or some cool design,” she said.

Lindsay Cook, freshman in secondary education, took Hopkins' statement even further by telling of her disgust for certain boxers.

“I have a friend with Woody Woodpecker underwear, I don’t like it at all,” Cook said, “I don’t like to see underwear with cartoon characters.”

When asked what type of underwear they prefer to wear, the girls were very responsive.

“I like to wear the string bikini-cut underwear,” said Hopkins, “I also like the little boy-cut ones, those are cute, but I don’t like lace anything — it’s really itchy.”

To the disappointment of many guys reading this, most girls only wear thongs on special occasions.

“I’ll wear the occasional thong; it depends on whether or not I care if my underwear shows with what I wear,” Hopkins said. Herz said she’ll wear a thong when she is dressing up or “if it’s the last thing I have in the drawer.”

Cook has a different approach to what she wears underneath her clothes.

“Underwear is overrated. I don’t like to wear anything, it’s more fun not to, like a little naughty secret that I have and no one else knows,” Cook said.

The same questions were posed to the opposite sex, and they too were very responsive. Most guys like to see (or imagine) women wearing thongs, but not Matt Lewis, senior in secondary education.

“I don’t like thongs because a lot of girls just can’t pull it off,” Lewis said.

Jeff Nutsch, sophomore in computer engineering, told of his preferences as well.

“Definitely not granny panties; thongs are hot, but other than that, most anything is alright,” he said.

Jason Stuchlik, senior in political science, shared the same feeling as Nutsch.

“Thongs are good, but it doesn’t really make a whole lot of difference,” he said.

All of the guys interviewed preferred boxers to briefs because they are more comfortable.

“I like to wear boxers because they feel better and are less constricting,” Lewis said.

Like the majority of those surveyed, it is best to make comfort number one when choosing underwear for yourself, just make sure you follow your mother’s advice and change it every day.

once you've seen all the skin, you realize how overrated the whole thing is. I personally like girls covering up. Thongs just leave no sense of mystery to the thing, and I prefer the look of women's normal underwear.

As for boxers, boxers suck ass. It's like wearing shorts with no underwear on, there's no support, you're just hanging your package out there. I don't like it, I feel uncomfortable, and when I wore them, I got little bits of fuzz stuck on the little "exit" at the tip, which was annoying as hell to get off.

Nor did I. I also didn't go throw the giant growth spurt where my body was too big for my muscles. I just kept growing at the same pace and got ... Hairier.

Personally, I like that girls wear thongs its hott and I would prefer girls to wear that then those big ass panties, and girls will cross the line when fat chicks wear them but i'm not getting into that lol. But I do like it I have asked girls if it feels like a weggie and they say they don't feel it.

I like when my girlfriend wears them. There's something attractive about it to me.

All of my girl friends (as in friends that are girls) wear them to prevent panty-lines. To them, it has nothing at all to do with attracting guys - in fact they hate it when their thongs are showing. And pretty much all of them find thongs to be comfortable enough.

I hit a growth spurt in the 8th grade. I was the skinniest I've been since the 1st grade O.o.

I grew a lot last year, and skinnied up a bit, but not overly much. Starting to gain my weight back. And I never really went through the cracky voice period.

mine used to crack all the time. liike in the middle of class, i'd answer a question from the teacher, and my voice did its thing. it drove me nuts. and it was hard to not talk like that
