Oh yes, the 6th mission is finally done (I think). Heres some advice, as usual:
- Alan Schezar is your hero. He's tough, but can die if you're careless. Ensure he lives.
- At your initial outpost, you do not have access to SCVs. You must make with what you have.
- The mineral derricks near the northern enterance provides resources at a steady rate. Protect them!
- Marines & Medics work well for the above purpose
- USE PSI TROOPERS! They are incredibly powerful ghosts that can turn the tide in any enguagement. Use them well.
- Vultures deploy energy spawns instead of spider mines. These small broodlings are good for both scouting and for fueling the Psi Troopers (via consume).
- If you encounter any Hybrid Temples, AVOID THEM! They will obliterate your men instantly, and are too powerful to fight normally.
- Waygates transport your men around the map, but the direct route to the base in the objectives is random each mission. Rely on your instincts.
- If you manage to reach the base... good luck...
Wow Volcove, even though I haven't actually completed any of these, these is a great campaign! Man, I can't wait to play number 6, I'm downloading right now, it looks like pure ownage. o_O Good work!

Wow, I just played it, and I loved it. Psi Troopers own everything! I had so many saved games, but one of my mineral derricks died early in the game for some reason.
Too bad I can't upgrade more. I'm about to enter another warp, after I clear out more. I NEED SCVS!
Actually, one of the derricks automatically destroys itself eventually... its an unknown problem
All it does is just slow the resource process. Try to stick with marines+medics for defense, while using the psi troopers + whatever else for offense.
Be careful... lots of nasty surprises in store

Nah, marine + medics suck. You need the psi troppers if you wanna suffer the least casualities and be the most effective. Usually, I just send a lone marine through a warp just to make sure.
Bah, I left about 90% of my forces at my base, MUST PROTECT THE VALUABLE RESOURCES!
I mean rines+meds for defense. Psi troopers for offensive, with goliaths & vultures as backup.
Also, vulture energy spawns (deploy mine) make better scouts: they don't cost money
No, just make psi troppers. Marine and medics, and maybe goliaths for defense, and psi trooppers and medic for offensive, for the win!
Hax... vulture & goliath backup helps alot in several cases -_-
Okay, this is stupid. I get the message I only have a fifth of my derrick reserves left, and two ultralisks from each side of my outpost rape everything. -_- DAMN, TOO STRONG. :/

Ultimo, you realize that protecting the derricks isn't everything... Just abandon them if it getting too hectic to defend them...
