How hard its it to unerstand that the chances of you contracting a disease from meat is slim to none?

If you don't eat meat, you have a less chance of getting a disease which occurs in meat. How hard is that to understand?

Heh buy good meat, and you basically won't get a disease either. I think not even eating at all makes your chances of getting food poisoning less too! Plus I'm not going to give up meat for the slim possibility of getting some kind of disease, especially since probably the most common ones will just make you sick, things like Mad cow disease are really rare, and there is a lot of concern over disease anyway since there is a lot of people who buy meat.
It's like hey drinking no water lessens your chance of getting sick from things in the water. But really instead of drinking out of a stagnant pond, drink some good water

You can only get Mad Cow disease if you eat any part of the Spinal Cord, or Brain.
Anyways, did you guys know that animals are killed in the production of wheat and veggies too?
They get the wheat harvester thing out, and rabbits and other animals are run over! So the veggie people are still killing animals no matter what they eat.

The only diseases you can get from meat is if it isn't cooked well enough!

Mad cow disease...
ADDITION:
OMFG someone beat me to it

No, actually, as has been said before, mad Cow dieseae is a neurological condition, and DOES NOT spread outside of the spinal cord and brain. Therby, DON'T EAT THE SPINE/BRAIN. DUR. But really, there are still bacteria which can make you sick, but mad cow was in one cow in the US anyways.
I'm sure if you look at some weird statistics there would be far more risks and probabilities that something that you do which is more common than eating meat would have a greater risk of you dying.

Exactly. Do you know why all those Seagulls fly around while the farmer is plowing up his field? They are there to catch the mice and insects that are brought to the top of the field when it is plowed. OMG! That's animals being killed right there!
And when you cut your Alfalfa and Barely and all that good shit, animals, like Snake clearly said, are being killed so you vegetarians can get your daily dose of the shits.

You have a greater risk of dying in a car wreak then dying from eating meat. You have a greater risk of drowning from eating meat.
Shit! My brother from prison is calling!
Exactly. If you fear the odds of being killed by meat, you'll be a hypocrite whenever you ride in a car, or in a plane. Because the amount of people that are killed by those, (Let's not count some 3rd world countries. Some of them have TERRIBLE food and water. Disease central over there.) GREATLY, and I do mean, GREATLY out do the deaths of "bad meat".
And if you're afraid of getting sick from bad meat, just ask a butcher or go on the internet and get some quick info on it if it bothers you that much. Find out what the signs of bad meat is, and where and where not to eat. So you can again, greatly lower your chances of getting sick from meat.

They aren't intentionally killed.
Being unintentionally killed is even worse! At least being intentionally killed for FOOD actually means their death was for a reason, to feed people. Being unintentionally killed makes it worthless.

Unintentionally killed MY ASS, bitch. IT IS KNOWN that these animals die in the process and NOTHING IS DONE to prevent them from dying. IT IS INTENTIONAL THAT THEY DIE; IF IT WERE UNINTENTIONAL; FARMERS WOULD TRY TO STOP THEM FROM DYING.
PLUS: Pesticides used! YOU KILL BUGS, YOU JERK! You KILLER, Parth, you eat plants, and pesticides are used to kill bugs during the production of plants you KILLER you!
And Devilesk's argument is very valid.
whoa, calm it down, ling.

1. Done deliberately; intended: an intentional slight. See Synonyms at voluntary.
2. Having to do with intention.
So no, it's not intentional.
Well my argument is still valid

So being unintentional justifies your case?
Yes, that argument is still valid.
I'm not sure about parth, but I can honestly say that I'm not using the untionentionality of the kiling to justify it, I was only pointing out that it was incorrect to say "unintentional my

".
It's still not unintentional if the farmers KNOW the animals die and do NOTHING to stop it.

What CAN the farmers do? Not farm? At least I found a way to prevent eating meat (eating veggies!), you're just saying, you killed an animal by accident, prevent it. I'm sure all precautions are taken to make sure as few animals as possible are harmed, and besides animals don't just jump in front of plowing machines.
Actually, the farmers KILL the animals intentionally to keep them from eating crops.
I'm sure thats "all precautions taken to make sure as few animals as possible are harmed". At least I EAT the meat that gets killed, but the farmers? They kill the rabbits and such and leave their dead bodies to rot!
I'm sure farmers don't run around their field, crushing all of their own plants to kill animals.
Correct me if I'm wrong: The dead bodies decompose and turn into food for the plants, so its not actually going to waste.
The bodies are food for the plants? Great. If the plants can eat animals, WHY CANT I?
Since you won't apperciate the taste.
Meat still taste good =P.
Our

from eating animals also helps the plants grow!! So their for its ok for use to eat animals.
