Are you kidding me? Read the previous posts, 20 minute introduction cinema and well over 90 minutes of total cinematics in the RPG... there is no need for a trailer at all... when my intro is done, that can be the trailer alone...
Trust me, the cinematics will be like nothing you ever saw before on sc. It WILL be aweing.

Lets move away from the "trailer" idea, that is getting old already... and I already am doing huge cinematics with tons of special effects, a trailer would be a waste of my time...
Anyone ready for the huge addition to this thread? Anyone know that its missing? Storyline? Introduction section? Well, how about the first update of the Crescent Dyne Epic Poem! Yay!
Lol, I will post the addition within a few days, or even tonight. Stay tuned for the update. And testers, please PM me with edits if there is problems with the storyline! Catch them fast so I can readjust it quickly.

umm im pretty sure Crescent is a word like the shape of the moon. So it would be pronounced like Cres-ent or something like that.
Ok, added 26 lines to the Epic Poem, Crescent Dyne.

I was wondering because the c has a cedilla, which indicates a soft 'c' sound. Like in the français. And many other french words. (Couldn't think of an english one at the moment.)
Since there's a day/night system, to make it more realistic you could make your character able to get exhausted if it goes without rest for too long, and make your character worse somehow.

I like that idea kumano, maybe I could use a death counter (not seen by your hero) but at certain monments, will tell you that you need a rest soon, or that you might fall alseep...
I can make each of the 64 spots for the timer, take away 1 stamina point, and each time you sleep at inn, it sets it to max number of 640, which is 5 day max.
At 0 stamina, your hero will use a Stamina Potion, or you will Faint. If you Faint, you will respawn at your last inn/ point of progression where you will be refilled and the guards or whoever got you, will have taken quite a good amount of gold, and if you have no gold, they will take it if you ever get any gold in sufficant amount? I could make it very efficant and realistic. Five days without sleep is max, but at the beginning of the 3rd day, you will begin to have the effects of being tired.
Tired could make you walk slow, decrease vision range, decrease spell range, accuracy? Or all for that matter!
I can start out with the -1 per clock move, 640 max/ heal at inn, 3rd day = slow, and 0 = faint.
how about standing still raises your stamina
i dont like the idea of having to pay to sleep =/ and it being a requirement......could get annoying
It's not a very restrictive requirement, if it starts effecting at 3 days thats almost 20 minutes.
Think about when your away on quests? Searching for items on an island where there is no place to sleep? And if you read my post, it says beginning of day 3, which is 12minutes and about 2 seconds ( 3minutes/ 64 ling spots)
20 minutes may not be very early, but 12 minutes is...
Standing still slowly can raise stamina ( -0 per timer movment, and +1 every 2-4? Based on a Passve Skill you could ajust this, every ling spot )

Wooden, you could also make it so if you eat food or drink water or something you gain a small amount of stamina. So if your on a quest and you're running low you can just cook up some food
and small amount of stamina to keep you running.
You could also make it random so if you faint you could get "Looted" by a thief and lose all your items/gold.
You could make it so at the campsites you can take a rest for free. But only regain your stamina not your Health/Mana.
i like the camp site idea, but the food thing is too extensive for an sc map =/
maybe at the camp it could say that you ate and slept but all you see is yourself going inside the camp and coming out XD

No, need more basic systems done, and ready for all players. Then I must finish terrain and town/spawn setups so I may do the introduction cinematic... this will be a long weekend.
