Staredit Network -> Serious Discussion -> Did God Create Evil?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Kellodood on 2006-04-05 at 18:53:02
Off topic for one moment: God was created after the Big Bang. I believe he is a human that has surpassed out present state of mind.

On topic: Nothing is just poof, there. There has to be something to cause, or create it. Just like evil was created by humans as I have explained many, many, MANY times before.

Kellimus... i was thinking about you saying that evil is a preceprion.

if it's not a secret please tell me, do you belive in God ?

Yes, I believe in God. What does that have to do with this? It does not change my beliefs on Psychology whether I believe in God or not.

if evil is a perception, & different people understand it differently, then how to explain that all people understand such things as hell, pain, death the same way ? the opinions are allmost the same. all think that pain, hell, death is bad.

+ didn't God say "i'm the only God, & i'm good & if u're bad i'll punish you"
doesen't taht mean that he told "you cant understand evil in different ways you must understand it in one way" ?

Do you understand the word Perception?

Well, judging the the minute presence of a plausible debate, no. Perception basically is how people UNDERSTAND things. People Percieve hell differently than others.

"My life is hell!" Bob says when he get's biznatched at.
"My life is hell!" Jim says when his family passes away, and he is left all alone.

Pain is only a sensation, and can be muted.

Death is percieved good in other cultures. The keyword is UNDERSTAND.

Do you percieve what I am saying? Or do you not even understand the word understand??

Do not bring discussions of God into here, because they are entirely two different topics. But since you asked a question, I will answer it:

No.

God gave us free-will (if you believe in God); Thus, we have the ability to think for ourselves. Perception (UNDERSTANDING) is a trait, gained. Some people have different ways of PERCEIVING things than others.

Do you perceive me as a horrible ugly flamer? Most here, do. But there are some here that know me, and PERCEIVE me differently then the ones that PERCEIVE me to be bad.

Alas, your arguments are refuted. Please, don't post here again. You repeat everything, and I must repeat myself for YOU. I am pretty sure that no one here wants a looped discussion of the same junk, over and over.

bouth Bob & Jim use word hell in meaning of bad. you just took 2 different situations but not 2 different ideas of understanding "hell".

i forgot about other cultures when i typed "death" so i agree with you on that one.

i didn't say "feeling pain" i mean the definition of "pain", everybody understand that word "pain" means physical suffering. ask a 5 year old child "waht is pain ?"
he will tell you taht pain is bad.

btw, "Do you percieve what I am saying? Or do you not even understand the word understand??" is flaming

"Do you percieve what I am saying? Or do you not even understand the word understand??" you act as i dont read your replys. i read them, they just didn't change my point of view

i won't argue with you anymore becawse you seem to be offended or/and annoyed by the fact that i have another point of view & taht you failed to change it

Actually jammed... its not flaming. Its sarcasm. You obviously don't understand the dictionary very well. What you are descrbing are definitions, not perception. Everyone defines it the same, but percieves it differently. Two different things.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Snake)Ling on 2006-04-07 at 19:58:54
Jammed, the underlying definition of hell is bad. The underlying definition of pain is bad. Why is hell bad? It supposedly causes pain. Why is pain bad? Pain hurts. If you must ask why being hurt is bad, you must be very stupid. You may find out why being hurt is bad by inflicting it upon yourself.

You are trying to change the definition of hell. This is impossible, because definitions are facts unaffected by opinion. If your opinion is that "the underlying definition of hell is bad" is false, then this is one of the cases where opinions are wrong.

there are 2 replys to your question:

A-if you belive in God, then he was there all along
B-if you dont belive in God, then humans created him

Thats true, but then who created humans, but then if god existed why didn't he create us faster?

Your opinion clearly. But what exactly is the “Big Bang”?

Ok, here is my idea.

IF GOD EXISTS:

He did create evil and if you have read the bible I shouldn’t have to explain. I don’t know about any other religions stories.

If he doesn’t exist:

No he didn’t. Man created evil in his own form. Almost like a rumor.

Such a hypocrite. You post the words: off topic, yet you are off topic yourself. Have you ever heard of being a noob? I'm not going to call you that, because that would be flaming. Maybe if you look up the definition, you might understand what i'm trying to get at.

Please quit spamming threads with two worded replies. This is the second time that I have reported you for it.
