This is going to be saved with just regular sc saving the point you were at in the map right?
Uh... screensaver? What's that for? XD
The screensaver is the display of your stats when it's not showing the stats of the items...
When it's not being used for the item's stats, it's on "screensaver" mode.
That is when it shows your Stamina, current Weight, any ailments, if any items are broken, and your misc. spell stats against you. It displays it in one of three ways:
•Poor •Good •Great
This is the estimation of all the spells effecting you (good and bad)
The screensaver and overall display system looks great, and is extremely efficient.
Hm... wouldn't it block ingame chat?
It isn't displayed with text Alaz, it is displayed on a 14digit display on your Minimap. It is used to compare item stats, completely minigames, and has a screensaver for your updated hero status.
The display system is a combination of lurkers to make letters/numbers on your mini-map. As wooden said, it consists of 14 digits - 7 digits on the top and 7 below that row.
Are the lurkers in a certain area of the map?
Yes, they are located at the top center of the map. They are all burrowed and arranged so that they make letters/numbers.
will the letters/numbers change? or stay the same
They will change.
They will show your weapon/armor/item's stats, your current stats, and other things as well. On screensaver mode, the stats update and change roughly every 10 seconds. The item stats wiull change whenever you change them.
so its gonna stay on ur screen the whole time?

Basically, but it's on the mini-map, not the screen.
I don't get it. How does it know what your current stats are? and when to change when they change?
O man people, when you see it, you will be astonished. The idea was fuzzy before i saw it too, but omg it's sooo crazy. It just cycles through all your stats in a space about 1/8 the size of ur mini map in the top center. You see the words and the number stats of your current condition. i.e. your stamina flucuates between 0-200(or so) right now so as you move/attack your stamina goes down, and reduces your rate of movement. then as the "Screensaver" cycles/refreshes you see the difference in your stamina number. Its absolutly insane!

sounds like some intense triggering there
2 questions:
1)How many triggers for you screensaver system?
2)How long do you guys each spend on stuff per day?
Screensaver system sounds insanely awesome.
i must say guys screenshots is one thing but when you get to see the WHOLE map its a lot more amazing. i love all the terrain, the buildings should be rather original (i would know for a number of reasons) and i think woodenfire spent about 5 hours per day on terrain for like AGES and lethal is allways afk im not entirely sure so you should just wait for them to reply and it looks absolutely amazing when its released you'll cry with joy (im not joking

)
I've seen it, like I said it was like I was in heaven. I think it would take longer than five hours a day to do all that...
and I enjoyed every hour of it...

So... Why lurkers?

Is the space for the screensaver also used for terrain?
No... its above the World map... O:
Woodenfire, are you and lethal still on track for the june 30 deadline? i noticed that triggers are still at 15%. is that cause its actually at 15% or has lethal just not updated you yet?
How big is this world map?

Wooden would be quite a rich illegitimate child if he got 10 minerals everytime someone asked that.
I believe he said if it's not out before the deadline, tough luck. If it's out before then, well yay for everyone.
World map is at minimum, 200x200... I had to extend some regions to complete some areas and blending... and then extended the water-line so you can't see null from the land... Lol
