I allways think of a release date as of a promise. That's why I didn't make any promises. I make only predictions, using words "approximatley" and "around there"

you know its not only wooden making this map. I mean its 3 peoples work, and thats hard. other people like lethal are working real hard on the map as well.
Maybe it comes June 31st
lmfao, i woud LOVE to see that happen
Like i said a few pages back: Early August-- that's my est. release date, I still need to meet with Taylor for music a few more times, however, in the 3 times i met with him, we accomplished about 15-20% of the music; so that's really good progress. You guys should not be even thinking about release dates, because that's out of your control, so asking about it won't change anything. And Wilhelm, keep your mouth shut, you have no insight on this project, ever concider why it is that brett never recruited you for the project? In even the simplest of areas? Hmmm...-- this thread needs none of your smug comments/interjections-- save that for an, "Annoying Flamboiance" thread.
Will you use EUD conditions ? Or you'd better make this map working on the future versions of SC allso, forgetting them ?
This RPG went from originally using EUDs when they first came out, not using them, and now EUD conditions are back. I doubt we will use them because of their unstability.
This is a longterm project, and a small map which took a single month to make. I can't really think of any other map with more triggers at this point in time.
Black9Winter, your continued inability to take criticism is pretty pathetic. As for never considering me for the project, here's a big reason: I never do anything: I'm lazy.
I'm plenty good at terraining, I know how trigger systems work, and I have a few ideas, but I never really implement anything into a real map. You can actually make something? Good for you! You still can't make anything that can't be understood. This is Starcraft, the trigger system cannot be changed, and anything you do can be figured out.
Cut the disrespect. You're wasting your own time (and more importantly) mine.
who is black9winter?, and do you need that much music? Well it seems like music and triggers are going in the same pace. I really wonder how the battle system will play out. Seems very interesting.
Black is doing the music for Crescent Dyne, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.
How many people are working on the map? Last time I knew it was Wooden doing music and terrain. Lethal doing the trigger, and someone else as well (i forget the name).
i think blacker9winter is just a tester, theres someone with a similiar name, so i'm guessing its hte same person.
i think:
Wooden - terrainer
Lethal - triggerer
lll(aka Ocean of Fire) - ideas
Oh yea it was Ocean of Fire, im pretty sure he does trigger as well. Well thats what I heard, Wooden does lots of work... Man this some real extreme project... I feel like its amazing that they came all the way to this point. 3 people working on 1 map is definatly not easy...
Wooden you should post it up in the front XD...
wow, this map has actually brought about gossip/rumors (amonst some sad people) like that of a new tranformers/EVA movie.
GJ WOODEN!
*gossip*gossip*"I hear theres gonna be swords!"*gossip*gossip*"and a trigger that gives you optimus prime!(goliath with big numbers and a namechange)"*rumors*rumors*
I am the connection that Brett(wooden) has to get music from my friend in college. He's the one who's actually responsible for
making the music. His name is Taylor, ull see that in prior pages; or on the main page with all the updates... that all of you
should be reading periodicly... like before you post stupid stuff...

1337 Posts!!!! OMG!!!! Come on CD!! I want it now!!

how long have u been working on this wooden?
Crescent Dyne was originally started by Hynk, under the name of
Depression RPG.
Hynk decided to quit, and put Wooden in control of the project. Wooden renamed it Crescent Dyne. The first post was in early August.
Question,
Do you plan on using deadly strike for weapons? For magical weapons I mean.
Also, do monsters appear more frequently the night?

What do you mean by deadly strike? Do you mean more accuracy or critical strike?
I'm not sure if we're making spawning more frequent during the night.
Deadly strike as in Diablo II.
I mean like you have a % of chance when his life is under like 40% to kill it in 1 shot.

I only quit because of school, reason being is... since I was going to a boarding school, and the school there blocked SEN, and Battle.Net. I thought it would have been hard to work with a partner because, considering I don't know Wooden's e-mail/MSN or w/e... It would be hard to keep in contact with Wooden, so basically, we would end up with 2 maps, one with the updated triggers, and the other with the updated terrain... So I figured Wooden would have been better off without me, since we could only meet on BNet like every 3 months.
Also, I'm glad I quit since the new triggerer, Lethal, had accomplished more than I ever could in 10 months... (which means if I was triggerer, you guys would be waiting longer for the map)
Also Wooden has completed redesigned the entire Depression RPG systems and ideas. Crescent Dyne is truely... a great RPG. It's COMPLETELY different than Depression RPG, except for it being 3 players
Still a shame they didn't have multiple endings like Depression did... Oh well.
Congrats Wooden and Lethal for a truely amazing RPG. Lets hope it finishes soon. Hm... like Depression RPG did, or like Depression RPG would? XD
Whoops, this is offtopic. Less than a week left, I wonder if it'll finish by the stated time. Of course, this may be like Blizzard.

Depression RPG would...
