When pasting more then 1 unit at a time, snap to grid won't work at all. I understand that it might be hard to get a spread of units to snap perfectly, but when it's just a bunch of the same unit stacked on top of eachother at the exact same location, there's no reason for it not to. This is one of the most annoying bugs I have found. It results in a lot of time wasted.

Another bug that is that location names sometimes change, randomly, for no reason, such as, E.G., "<3>" or "<4>" or something being appended to them. Sometimes when I try to remove this anomaly, it simply won't go away, I try to edit location name, but it doesn't work. It causes problems when I try to compile in the text-based trigedit. Such as "expected location name at line ###".

Oh and setting "auto updates" to "enabled" does nothing whatsoever. Instead, it is automatically, constantly turned on, with absolutely no way to disable it, even if it's "disabled". This is very annoying. Not quite as bad as the first bug I mentioned though.

Oh and the mission briefing editer is randomly buggy, it often doesn't work at all (blank briefing).

Oh and it seems that the auto update feature doesn't even WORK AT ALL even though it keeps popping up every single time I try to open scmdraft. You said you fixed something, but I haven't gotten a prompt to update or any kind of notification or anything. I would have had no way to know there was an update available if I hadn't read this topic. Not good.

What version do you have? since the autoupdate is always on its probably a prerelease, where I disabled the option to turn it off...

do you get the prblem with location names in 0.6.0 prerelease 2? any way to cause it to happen? does it happen in the version I linked yesterday?

The title of the window is "Scmdraft 2.0 (Beta 0.6.0) Public prerelease #2"

I downloaded it around a year or two ago, and haven't gotten any update prompts ever.

Oh and I can't even look for new versions at the site; it's broken.

that is the newest version not including the one only linked in the new forum I setup.

If you are not logged in you will probably get a login prompt everywhere on the beta site...

Version: SCMdraft 2 0.6.0

Saving my map after placing location 146 (it can be placed anywhere, it doesn't seem to matter) causes SCMdraft to get an error and crash.

If you compile the currently existing mission briefing triggers in the Text-based Mission Briefing Editor and attempt to re-edit them in the Classic Mission Briefing Editor, it gives the error message "You must select at least 1 condition (ie Always)."

The string editor screws up displaying a lot of the time making me close/re-open SCM Draft. Just annoying. -_-

When I try to copy and paste a selection of more than one unit, there seems to be an offset when trying to place them on the grid.

if you have grid snap enabled it searches for a building and snaps that to the grid, if there is no building it uses the first unit in the internal list. for free placement disable snap to grid

Specifically, the problem I had was when I had several zerg beacons that I placed snapped to the grid in a noncollinear manner, and then I selected those and copy and tried to paste them, it would not snap to the same grid as the original beacons were.

i got a particular bug with the doodad thingy...
what happens is that when you pick a doodad and then place it and quickly change in order to select and remove that bug... it completely freezes the application but you can still save and exit scmdraft.

I'll take a look, could you say exactly what you do?

select a doodad in the doodad palette or the tree? which one?
and select what? a new doodad in the tree? the palette? or on the map?

Hmm, I just crashed. It's always with the unit tree on the left side. I was viewing locations and then I opened up Units>Zerg>Ground Units> and clicked on Zerg Drone. Then Trigedit gave me a diagnostic error thing.

the .dmp file is automatically saved, go search for *.dmp.
