I've always though trees with non-matching bottoms were cool. But then I tried trees with non-matching bottoms and double sprites.

[edit] Let me post the Über Tree of Doom. Actually, its an orgy of sprites. Meh, I suck at terrain.

Ok here's my burning ghost town with one human in it. He just happens to be a pyro cripple.

Sorry for not pasting them together in photoshop, but it won't work right for me right now
84 sprites

---nevermind, too lazy
It's pretty good, but there are quite a bit of sprites that could be spread out in my opinion. It's in twilight though!

The Xel'Naga temple looks pretty awesome with the burning.
It's supposed to look like its in the middle of a very gloomy and cluttered forest
Looks cool. I wonder how barrack(s) shadows would look for smoke?
is the firebat supposed to look like hes in a wheel chair or sumdan?

Wouldn't work well unless you could order the barracks to move. And when they are cloaked, they are disabled. Unable to move unless you use the teleport action.
You could create, remove, and preserve a barracks that was in-transit...
Wow twilight must be really hard to do stuff in. That's not as good as your other stuff shift. Still it ain't completely rubbish. It'd pass as a ghost town in my opinion.
I know, I wasn't in the mood to do the terrain part at all, so I just did that part in normal staredit
Shift, the ghost town is ok... the problem is that you have too much vision i think...
I dont know, im not too good at terrain.. I think someone should make a ghost SHIP!

EDIT :: Heres my ghost town thing i guess!
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=14102Hmm, screw the burning town. I'll skip that part in Rush.
Ok, I'm out of ideas for now. Do whatever.
You know, when u said burning buildings i was thinking more of the tall buidlings u can make in badlands terrain, then adding a building on fire in transit or something...
I Make it in a few seconds and shot you what i mean...
We still want the flying Eternal Kingdom of Zeal!
I Like Shift's better... but anyway! really tall burning buildings!

That's really nice. Buildings infront of water, so it's not like you can walk behind them. That's cool. Perhaps cast a giant shadow in that water using the cloaked barracks.
Is the new thing Cloaked barracks, after that swamp post All I've been hearing about is Cloaked barracks this and cloaked barracks that, (you can cloak other buildings besides barracks just so ya know..)
Anyway.. i guess its a good idea

Anyways, here's a twilight one...

Those are pretty cool. Keep it up, Shift!
Nice buildings. Yeah that's kinda what I had in mind, except it was a whole town of them.
Ok, I just thought of one I'm gonna need very urgently soon. A badlands church. Doesn't matter what religion, just so long as it accomplishes the churchy effect well.
I need it for the final area of Rush.
So it better be good.
I could pump one out next week, if you'd still need it by then.

I'm working on one too at the moment, but asphalt and techno structure doesn't really make a good religious environment methinks, and I can't think of any sprites that make the effect well (except maybe some temply stuff).
Help?
Right after school... Since i have nothing better to do, ill make one. Can it be dirt flooring? or does it have to look and feel like a church?
Are any of you arabs by chance?
You all did a good job of making the buildings become engulfed in flames.
I like the flames on the buildings. Tuxedo is the terrain you want the inside or outside of a church? Or both...
