Glad to see some stuff besides waterfalls and jungle tilesets. Hell, I don't even care whether it's jungle tileset or not, as long as it's cool.

But we need mOrE!

Here's some locations that would be cool to see:
  • A Prison
  • Death Valley/Canyon
  • Hell
  • An Industrial Area
  • A War Zone
  • Crystal/Ice Caves
  • A Palace
  • A Nudist Colony
  • A Hydro-Electric Power Plant
  • A Farm
  • The Moon's Surface
  • A Junkyard
  • An Asteroid Field
  • A Large Crater
  • The Sky
Sure, it's not a complete list, but I challenge anyone to try and pull them off.

P.S. Post any other ideas you have if it's worthwhile.

Well the platform tileset has a space brush, but I'm thinking like if you were in free fall or flying a plane, or playing some sort of werid floating continent or something.

The moons surface is already done: Ashworld tileset. Just use a 100% Clutter for a lot of craters.

Id love to see a very active, NPC-controlled war zone, with constant bombings, attacks, and firefights.

Anyway, how about a well-lit grocery store? And itll be very tough to pull off, but maybe some sort of 3-Dish platform game? (re: Super Mario RPG)

i was gonna post sumdan like this a little while ago telling ppl to post there terrain ideas... u beat me too it, and ive always thought that the moon terrain would best be al crushed rock in twilight...

Some of these might not be possible, but I would like to see some.
  • Smoke / Mist, this has pretty much been done though, sorta.
  • Tree forts, with possibly ladders.
  • Whirlpool, enough said.
  • Rainbows, for the fruity appeal.
  • Balcanies, like off of cliffs or something.
  • A two story house, on the inside. (with stairs)
  • An apple tree, just because. happy.gif

ok this is what i did i read topic and i decided a random number and then number was the nudist thing so i chose other number and the powerfull HYDRO-ELECTRICAL POWER PLANT!!!!!!!! came out so i decidded to make it or at least try i think i can perfect it but here are some pics of what i got:

wow thank you lol i had not that much free time to make the clif-water edges perfect that's why it took me 0:7:35 hours/minutes/seconds
yeah i timed it hmmmm by the way i like the apple three but it looks more like a mango three or something since when are apples green (in a three)

I think the sky "terrain" is nice. I could imagine an interesting map about airships being made with that backdrop. That gives me an idea...

I had an idea, so I threw a bunch of sprites around and came up with this... I was thinking maybe people could make a coral reef biggrin.gif

I know mine isnt the greatest.. but its just an idea.

Edit: Added a beach. biggrin.gif

I did reef, which reminded me of the ocean, which reminded me of the beach.

Can't really put waves (unless you put water under, but cant see through the psi field sprite. One square of that stuff is in there because I was blindly erasing them. (The L thing at the bottom near the right.)
