There will always be a time and place for war, like D)s-202 said. Whether or not the current outcomes would be the same with another war or minus a war, we will never know.

I just saw War of the Worlds Yesterday, sadly, that movie is nowhere close to being a war. All those "scenes" in the previews where you see tanks and helicopters shooting stuff at the aliens are all one scene. But the thing is, i dunno if it could even be considered a war scene. The camera only focuses on our units, it only shows us firing weapons. It doesn't show us what we're firing at. Kinda retarded, movies made by Steven Spielsburg you'd expect to see huge fight clashes. And the place where all the tanks and helicopters are at are on top of a hill, the next moment you see a huge blast of fire from the other side of the hill and then everything's gone.

Wars happen because stupid leaders and dictators want more land. they also have enough money to build up a massive army and attack small countrys and islands. so if this is followed, eventually the world will be lead by 1 person. OMG. but as well as that, if there was no war, ppl like saddam hussein & Hitler would rule.
War is gd if the cause is righteous, but fights over land and food r just insanely stupid.

Again, people dying isn't a bad thing as long as they deserve it. Allied deaths were bad, but Axis deaths were not only not bad, they were good. Sometimes war are absolutely needed (when you are directly attacked), but other times we should really fight more wars against bad countries just because they deserve it.

If you are talking about WW2, many Axis soldiers didn't deserve to die. Many wanted to stop the war and didn't want to fight. You must be talking about the Axis leaders who deserved to die.

Heh I just saw Saving Private Ryan yesterday, the Dday scene in the beginning was pretty graphic, and kind of showed how many people died.

Also there were some parts where the allies just shot Nazis that had surrendered so I guess that probably happened in real life also. But I think if you actually surrender you don't deserve to die.

anyhoo, war is not evil it is a nessesity, if not only to contole your own population and that of your enimeys but to make you country better.(if you win) it will always be here, its not going anywhere, and there just going to get worse. get used to it, ot move to the moon.

ww2 alone killed more then 6 million people. Dude learn your facts. Just in the concentration camps and ghettos 6 million jews, poles, etc were killed. Thats not including the war front of ww2 and not including ww1 at all.

also, not all of the axis wanted to fight. Italy secretly negotiated a sureender but when hitler found out, he occupied italy. You think that the 15 year olds and 80 year olds that germany armed at the end of the war wanted to fight? Wanted to die for a cause they were losing? No. They did not but were forced to. Ever heard of the fall of konigsberg, 90% teenagers and seniors against an entire russian army. Ya they dealt those soviets some damage but their morale was low because they DID NOT want to fight.

one last thing, what if heaven was one of those spiritual things, where believing is seeing. Like they believed back then, we don't believe as they do now-a-days. OR they could of built it on some kind of radioactive chemical that could of affected their minds and made them speak "babble". OR aliens did it to them. I'm with number 2

That movie is suppose to be a "war" but I'm just saying it's not. And sinec this thread is about war, i guess there is no harm posting it here.
