Exactly.
QUOTE
When did I say anything about your intelligence? I said you looked like an idiot when you basically said people look like idiots spelling things wrong and then using 'u' instead of 'you' in that same thread also acknowledging that you say it.
QUOTE
I'm not saying you are an idiot, it's not my place to judge. But do you realize that, while you're making a good point, you're also looking like an idiot yourself using u in place of you.
'I'm not saying you are an idiot, it's not my place to judge.'
Which means-
'I think you are an idiot, but i dont want to say it bluntly'
Or something close in any case.
Dictionary.com definition of the word 'idiot'
1)A foolish or stupid person.
2)A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.
I think thats an insult to intelligence. Dont you, now that the word definition is right here?
Back on what i said-
I said its ok to have tons of mistakes, even though it often results in lessened respect.
I also said that slang such as u-you and those are ok to say because even though its easily fixed its commonly seen on the computer and its easily understood.
You apparently didnt notice the part
QUOTE
Seriously, why do people write you instead of u?
First of all, i addressed the problem, which is writing you/u.
I said that I use it in the post, which should eliminate any other remarks, since any person who read this with a miniscule part of a brain should notice that I recognise this problem and wrote it on purpose to better express my point of 'u vrs you'.
Seriously chuos, I respect you and all, but you cant call me an idiot because I wrote something like that.
