QUOTE(Neiji @ Nov 8 2005, 09:58 PM)
No. You misunderstand hell. Just like the million other things in the Bible, the flames are symbolic. You cannot get burned w/o a body. He sends you to hell when you absolutely DON'T wanna believe in God. Trust me, everybody gets a chance to believe in God. If they refuse, suit yourself. You'll go to hell, and that's your choice. Hell is a place where you are separated from God.

You didn't answer the questions I asked. You just skipped over to the ambigious detail I used for hell.
QUOTE
First you tell us what to believe, and now you act like you know more about us than we actually do ourselves. I personally believe in God because I want somebody to love me no matter what I do. I want to be loved (Not man to woman, but u know what I mean, like relatives, but much greater). With God, I'm confident in myself and my actions, and I do the right things by thinking "Would God be happy if I did ______?.
Basically, God wants us to believe in him through faith and trust in him. It's similar to the trust my parents have in me. When I tell them something, they never say "Oh REALLY" or "Where's the PROOF?", they trust me. But the love between me and my parents is nothing compared to the bond we and God have.
I suppose I should've commented on what you said instead of just high lighting it. Sorry about that.
My point was, you didn't believe in God because he's real or fake. You believed in him because you WANT to believe in him. You WANT someone to make sure that everyone gets fairly judged at the end. Here's the quote again:
QUOTE
No God, no purpose in life. No goal. No reward for hardships. Once the honest fall, they will be annihilated, while the cheaters lived their life the way they wanted, who will be getting the same ending as the honest. I don't think this is a world I want to believe in.
You clearly said right there, "I don't think this is a world I want to
believe in."
BTW - Attack the argument this time not just the irrelevant details.
