Considering I can enter 3 maps, I'll probably enter Sylvar and some quickly put together RPG just to make a bigger map library (I bet all of us are excited to get our hands on some RPG maps)

I'm busy putting some finishing touches on my RPG, although it is still only in a Demo stage. I'm not even far enough along to consider it a Beta. Anyway, I have the gameplay finished about 50%. What I'm working on right now is making it a polished demo. Each quest will be complete, boss fights will be complete. Of course everything is subject to change as I progress the second half of the map, but who knows. Can't wait to see everyone else's map and also get some feedback on mine. =D I'll be taking beta testers after I decide I'm ready to upgrade this map to Beta!!!

I'll finish it. If I don't, my BlizzSCUMS co-workers will be quite upset. Since I do feel like being involved in this contest still, I don't mind being a judge. Funny how I have time to judge maps, but not make them.

Wow, I found out today that apparently I'm going to a track meet in the next big town, which happens to be 300 miles away, my weekend of working on this map is shot. (leave friday, get back sunday

For the record my demo just hit 45% with the finishing of the majority of the battle system. I'm adding in a few spins like some items n whatnot, and im gonna progress the story far enough so that it all makes since. My intro is maybe 5 minutes long, and i estimate rest of my alpha demo will be about 30-40 more minutes unless you get confused. Anyway I'm still in this, you'll love the map I promise.
Aparently though we have a bunch of people who are just dropping out, it's very sad. Im sure we've lost at least 5 mappers, good mappers at that. I hope you all bring your spirits or efforts up a notch and just give the rpg community something to have fun with. Anyway goodluck to everyone else, let the best map win.

I'm sorta expecting alot of demos and BETAs. RPGs are pretty crazy to make. But hopefully, the participants will continue on the RPGs after the contest, meaning more fun for the mapping community.

Well, I've submitted Sylvar Demo. I couldn't find any time before May 5th to actually test, so it probably might be buggy

Ugh... I wasnt able to finish TSE2 (The Shadow Experiment 2) in time for the contest dead line. But the demo is released. Things were going by slowly and I dont got enough time anymore for map making. I was looking forward to first place, but i bet theres someone way better than me. Good luck to those who entered.

You may never know... I've been waiting 2 months in hopes that lots of people (or at least a good number) would enter so that there would be a good number of RPG maps to play. I know there's good RPG maps out there already, but I've either a)played them already or b)haven't seen them/people won't let me dl the map/etc.
I'm fearing that there probably won't be a good turnout by Friday

Well, this thread did get 2000+ views, but I agree at the fact that this contest could have gotten more entries if it was on the Front page.
Of course, I plan to finish Sylvar some time in the future. This map would probably be my first adventure-ish map (that I would complete).
