i dont really think presidents are important. they havent done shit for the country

Hopefully one day, people won't need a president to keep them in line.

I was ok when we went after Osama, but all of a sudden, came Iraq. I applaud Bush for that. He really knows how to channel our anger.

Iraq is bad, ya. Because they supposedly "Threatened" us with Nukes. (And we didn't?)

But don't talk about North Korea, or china, or the holocausts that went on in africa during the 90's. Let's not worrying about them at all. I mean, they changed their ways. They're not evil or anything. Ya know? They're nice people. I mean, it's not like korea as nukes, and are building them when we told them not to. I mean, it's not like their doing that.
Man, I love my country. We basically do whatever the hell we want to do. And attack anyone we want, and if one of our senators disagree, label him unpatriotic. Because, everyone wants to be patriotic to their country. No one wants to be an outcast. So no one really stands up or anything, and I love that.
God I love fake democracy.

How does that help you as well? He said from the start that vehicles were unarmored. And I just brought you guys the facts that I've actually Googled. happy.gif

And actually you stated that we had tons of armored vehicles and few unarmored hummers that weren't supposed to see action. I specifically researched this to show that most of the injuries are due to unarmored vehicles.
QUOTE
You must be talking about the few hummers that didn't have armor, and you know who were driving those hummers? The men in the BACK of the bus, i.e. the guys were weren't going to see any action. The emergency room medics (non combat) and water purifiers (examples). Basically the men who weren't going to see any action. But when we took over cities and the foreign insurgency started, there was no longer a 'front line' so even men who weren't suppose to see combat were being blown up.

Crazy.. Bush is Crazy. I think that Bush should go to war for the fun of it and screem and scare the kids. Or go to Africa and talk to a monkey.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DevliN on 2005-06-29 at 10:44:20
I think he'd have a really nice time in Africa talking to a monkey. It would be just like Bush looking in a mirror.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-06-29 at 11:06:15
LOL! That is all true, lol. Have you seen those pics of the monkeys and his face on the internet? Seems like a perfect match to me...

Anyways. Bush is in Iraq to finish what his father couldn't finish. And he is also in there to establish a "Democracy" to make it so we can trade Oil with them, really cheap.

And just a little note, did you know that Muslums don't believe in charging interest?

Just a crazy little fact..... That shows how ignorant our president is....

Think about it. We go in there to establish a "Democracy" so we can get oil for cheap, and now, they are going to start charging interest (Which is against the Muslums beliefs) seems to me, we are just there to bash on the Muslums (Which I wouldn't doubt an ex-crack head like our president to bash on a religion cause his religion says their religion is bad. All religions do that)

I would just like to point these out. smile.gif

Apparently some people don't realize, that Clinton reduced the national deficit by slashing the military budget to death, shutting down many arms factories, withdrawing troops from foreign countries, closing embassies, and overall reducing our military power. Now, if the world was a perfect place, this would be completely acceptable, but many groups of people believe in the use of force to convey their opinion. (ex, taliban, martyrs) By reducing our overall military strength, and thus our national defense and security, he exposed our nation to a greater risk. Now I am not blaming 9/11 on Clinton, or even Bush for that matter. But when you are seen as weakening in the world by terrorists (and even civilized countries), you become a much more likely target.

But did you know that Bush is actually SHUTTING DOWN our military bases? That is worse than Clinton cutting the budget in my eyes....

Yesterday on the radio, I heard a part of Bush's speech about the situation in Iraq. He said he will not pull out until the battle has been won. If we pulled out now, it would make us look like cowards. He said he will strike fear into the hearts of all the Iraqi terrorists. Once they get a good government going, more and more iraqi's will be encouraged to join; on they get a good military going, more and more iraqi's will be encouraged to join as well. Once this happens, more and more countries in the Middle East will probably follow Iraq's footsteps.

And the rest i cant remember...

ADDITION:
O and I think the speech might've been an old one too...

But you know those are lies and deceptions put out by him to make it seem like the situation in Iraq is good, when in fact it's horrible.

You have to read between the lines buddy.

Oh, and if we are "striking fear into the hearts of Iraq terrorists", why are they not retreating? Why do they still procede to take civilians and massicure them? Why are they still using gorrila warfare against us? Why have they not surrendered????

Seriously, Bush is an idiot.

So, oh smart one, please explain to me what my context, scale, and stance of my arguement was. Kellimus stated we had NO armoured vehicles in the first part of the war. I corrected him in stating that we did, and then I also noted that he must be talking about the hummers that had no armour. And some how you guys prove me wrong by telling me we had no armoured hummers and most deaths were due tot hat fact? Im puzzeled on how that proves me wrong when we both are stating the same thing.

What are the lies and deceptions? please explain better...

It is simple fact, there are two kinds reactions when some one is losing a game/battle/match/etc... The first reaction is to accept that you are going to lose and retreat/kill yourself/surrender/etc... The second reation is the "Hell no we are not going to give up!" So in this reaction you fight harder/work harder/be more daring/etc...

I believe the terrorist are well supplied with men, but I do believe they are losing. Why? Becuase they have not stopped the elections in Iraq, they have not stopped the new government from forming, they have not stoppped the new government creating a constitution, they have not driven out Coalition forces, they have not done anything helpful to them selfs.

So I believe that the terrorists are losing, extremely slowly though. And they are fighting harder then ever because they know they can't win ts they become more daring, build more bombs and attack more often in a last ditch effort to stop democracy.

I have been in football games where my team was winning 21 to 7 going into the forth quater and the other team came out and hit harder and drove on us like no other. We thought this was a whole different team becuase they wanted to win. They almost beat us to, we won by a field goal. 24-21. close one.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Felagund on 2005-06-30 at 19:40:23
Actually, any attempt to stop the elections in Iraq would have undermined their anti-American stance by being anti-Iraqi. Since democracy is a fairly popular idea, this would have turned even more of the populace against the militia. It's a very shady topic, deciding if the militia fighters in Iraq are "good" or "bad." It's easy enough to label them as terrorists, but I'm sure a good deal of them are just fighting against America, an invading entity. They may use some terroristic tactics as a means of lashing back against the United States.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by TheDaddy0420 on 2005-06-30 at 20:26:30
True, Im glad I wasn't bashed by you happy.gif

But most of them are forgien insurgents. I bet some of the insurgents are trying to hit Americans/forgieners only, but maybe other, more radical terrorists are hitting anyone they can see. I hear about more Iraqis being blown up then Americans. Its always "And today in Derka-Derka, just outside Bagdad, 9 Iraqis were killed and 3 Americans were injured in a car bomb attack..." Plus I also keep hearing about attempted assinations of Iraq government officails.

Maybe there are the insurgents who want America out, and the other insurgents who want Democracy out.

I remember him saying he could easily defeat the terrorists with out highly trained military.

Well, so far, the terrorists are owning our army. They don't even get training, except how to make sure that they can shoot.

Do you why? They are using the same strategy we used to pwn the hell out of the British in the American Revolution. Guerilla tactics.

It's seriously the best strategy.

Now, if our soldiers could get past their training and use the same hide and seek strategies, we would have a chance. Otherwise, we're censored.gif ed and you know it.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Loser_Musician on 2005-06-30 at 22:40:35
"Owning" our military? The only thing they're "owning" us on, is the amount of money we're spending on it. They're not owning us man power wise. We've only lost about 3,000 soldier, and for a war, that's pretty low. That's like, no WHERE near compared to the real wars. You know, the ones where if we lost, we wouldn't be america anymore.

I don't picture this as a war, I picture it as a very small war. I mean, a lot more americans get shot in america with guns each year, then soldiers get shot in Iraq.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Felagund on 2005-06-30 at 22:55:07
Wow, am I agreeing with Chris? Rock! biggrin.gif

ADDITION:
Yes, the caucasians will be inconspicuous amongst the arabic people. /sarcasm

Guerilla tactics stop working once you stop blending in. Besides they only work against a well-organized (like squad) enemy. They'll be obsolete against lone oponents.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by TheDaddy0420 on 2005-07-01 at 00:03:41
I would say they were owning us awhile ago, but we have had like 4 major operations in the past months and have killed like 2,000 of them and captured many more in those 4 operations.

I got an email from my friend who is an Army Ranger, Brad Jenison. He stated that he was patroling in Iraq (couldn't tell me where) and he and his unit were searching a house based on tips. When they entered the house a man took off running out the back door. Brad said he felt like he was on the show 'Cops' while chasing the guy down. hahaha I think thats pretty funny cause Brad did catch up to the man and tackle+hand cuff the guy.

It is a "confritation" not a war. Good ol Mr. Bush (idiot) uses the word War to make it seem plausible for us to be in Iraq. If the American people were actually smart, they would realize this.
