You really are stupid.
Oh, the irony... innocent.gif

QUOTE
You don't directly corrupt replays any more than someone burning their neighbor's house down directly causes their neighbor to buy a new house.
Then we can skip around singing that the morph hack and EUD's were indirect discoveries? They were always there. Also, from one of devilesk's posts, I hear that these replays still work. Maybe your corrupted replays are not corrupted because of patches?

QUOTE
And you still won't answer that question.  I wonder why?
What question? Are you talking to me?

Ok, you complain about me causing a patch, but Blizzard would have to patch it ANYWAY, thus corrupting your PRECIOUS replays whether you like it or not.

Shut up dude.

They wouldn't have to patch it until (and if) someone else found and released it. And in the meantime, they would have time to minimize the effect on replays (and time to make the reaction more swift).

You are looking like an idiot here. Why aren't you banned?

Verbal warning, stop the flaming in this thread or I'll take action on that as well.

People have done worse to me. I only hope you would take the same action to them.

They do work if you downgrade ur Starcraft to a previous patch which the replay was saved in.

You
Are
Stupid

Do you even read what other people type? Or do you just imagine a conversation in your head?

Now watch this: I'm not going to post again in this topic - and guess what! I'm actually going to follow through on my word!

I didn't lock this, but since I feel like getting a word in, I'm going to put one in.

All of us need to chill out. Who said EUD will warrant a patch? Who said this patch would corrupt replays? There is no golden rule stating that patches will always render all previous replays unusable.

Let me give everyone here a hypethetical. Humanity has direct contant with the great programmer of Life.. You find a way to shoot multicolored lasers out of your rear end. Would you go around showing people how to do it, or would you go directly to the great programmer of Life and say "Hey, there's a bug in humanity that you need to fix". Maybe electric companies and lightbulb manufacturers would be outraged since you found a way to illuminate places like that. If you show it off, would you be imprisoned and taken to court for doing so? Or, would everyone go "hey, I don't need electricity for lights anymore" and save a ton of money? Sure, some people are going to be upset, but you need to think of the greater good. Toting around the "screw you, I'm right" arguement as your primary weapon isn't very good for debating. And after reading every post in this topic, I'm seeing far too much of it.

The EULA? I think by now everyone has violated it. If you've loaded up X-Tra, BWChart, PenguinPlug, whatever. There you go. If you're condeming one of us, you're taking everyone with you, including yourself. Let's face it - using the plain staredit.exe is boring, and any program that will tell you your APM is pretty damn useful.

So, there you go.

Your analogy is non-sensical. A better one woudl be:

You are playing a videogame, and find a bug that causes the player to instantly win. Do you go to the company that created the game and say, "Hey, I found this really big glitch that I think you should fix", or do you release that glitch for everyone to exploit?

A similar anolgy would be if you found an exploitable buffer overflow in Internet Explorer. Would you go parading it around message baords, or would you directly go to Microsoft?
