I dont know if you remember, but at one time this site had an rpg on it(untill Zero Tolerance asked yoshi to take it down cause he removed the copy rights )

but i think that would be a nice feature to bring back. make it optional. and it use the mineral. starcraft races, jobs based on race, and a world to explore. it would be quite ez. (just another distraction )

I think the name glows are pointless
but it looks like v5 is going to be great, cant wait.

No. Shouts 2 weeks old gets deleted automaticaly. So you'd top somewhere at 500 shouts if you're active and you'd stay there.

I dont know, for the ammount of people on this site, an hour, and some people would still have 500 shouts

it should be more like a week, or a week and a half. even though it is nice to be able to go back and look at what people have been talking about.

We're not using an invision board anymore don't forget. We'd have to make our own RPG, which is always a possibility, however we will make games AFTER the release of v5.

Also most likely removed in v5.

Its funny how you mention that. I just finished a prototype for the board index about half an hour ago.

I could do it, no problem, I have been working on something like that for my own site, so I could just edit it for your own use.

Make more starcraft-like theme rather than planets

such as making the icons starcraft ones like the guy mentioned earlier. The buttons should have a starcraft font.

Something like that, but since a complete layout change may take awhile, ignore it if you wish

Letme tell you, EVERY little geocities and freewebs starcraft site uses the starcraft font, because they think its "cool". For the starcraft logo, it looked pretty good. For use on normal websites, it looks horrible.

We're not going to starcraft theme the site, because its a map editing site, and map editing is all about creating scenarioes and worlds. So our theme is map making.

Not THE starcraft font. The menu or ingame menu fonts dont look too bad.

If you want to view the site in some another font, apply a custom client-side style sheet to it

What do you do if someone gave you minerals and SEN v5 resets everything. Do you have a log of all the exchanges or will they just get lost.

I have a suggestion that might of been suggested earlier but maye a better statistic of your posts...



cuz i would like to know how many post i actually have. Because in that i have over 200 posts and thats only 30% .... but the substantial posts are almost 200...


So what im asking is a better breakdown of the post count

Hey me and my friend were using Personal Messages, and within less than five minutes we both had 100% full.... I was thinking for people who want to talk could use like a little Personal Chat thing... So like you could go to that page and click and "Invite" button and it will send them a little message saying "You got a chat invitation by Bob, Decline or Accept?" then if you click decline it will say whoever sent it, if you click accept it goes to that page. And make so more than 1 person can be in one chat. (So you can bring a few of your friends).

I know it probably will not happen, I just thought it annoying we just kept sending messages as if we were in a chat thing.

This would also be nice for when people are not at home and can't get on an Instant Messenger or Battle.net. But it would have to have a limit, you could make so it is like the shout box and only displays a few lines. And make so it only holds like 5 people, and you can only have one open. So if you send one and there in one make it say "They are already in a chat." and if it has an open slot make it send the people in there saying "Joe would like to chat with you." so they can invite Joe if they want.

chooie333: Additional coding but not on my side... Custom client-side css is something an individual can apply to a site for accessibility reasons (like making text larger for poor eyesite).

The problem with that is we were sending/recieving like 3 at a time. So we kept having to refresh and keep doing all this stuff just to make sure we got eachother. And we kept deleting and STILL got to 100% full...

I was just saying that it would be a good idea for people (like me) who can't get on b.net, messengers, etc.

Just think about it and see if you can find a way to make something like that without flooding SEN if many people use it. It wouldn't really matter if it never happened, it would just be a nice feature.

There's always aim on demand javascript programs at www.aim.com you can run without actually installing aim on a computer.

You should make it so that if you start a poll you can edit it (like add/remove something).

But I don't think you can revote so that would be a terrible idea!

Add a Revote button (somehow stores what you voted for (hey already remembers if you voted or not) then just does -1 for that)

How about when someone makes a poll, they can edit the number of choices. That is if you haven't considered that already.

This is hard to do and even more harder if you're trying to do it for different browsers, OS systems and Music Players.

I'm talking about a system similar to that of the one currently being used for B.net User stats and it displays if you are online or not, and where you are if you are online.

There could be a button next to your name or a whole section of your profile showing what are you currently hearing to.

The button next to your name in forums could create a dropdownbox displaying the song that you are playing.

It's not quite hard to make the arrangements for it, the only hard thing would be to somehow extract what song is currently being played in Media Player, Quicktime or whatever. Then it's easy to display it using php.

Where did all of that come from...?
