The way a person responds in a forum, or even through a messenger client, greatly reflects that person's intellect.

No offense, but writing poetry or stories that flow and sound good are, much harder than you think. It's not like anyone can just make a masterpiece.

And I am not saying I am a great, or even a good writer. I am just saying it is much harder than you think.

Toward the end of 26 lines, It has quotes and then a description. Those represent the 3 different characters in the RPG.

I had a focus when I was writing. Wasn't just putting down words and running with them...

but yes i can write other type of poems not fantasy stuff like...

A little while ago, I played a version of this map, its GREAT the terrain is incredible, the clock is a great new system, and many of the effects I have never seen before. Everything about it is amazing.

that clock thing.......should be a sun/moon
like make the moon out of terrain for night and cover it with yellow units when its morning

I think it's fine the way it is. It gives you more of a realistic feeling, like you might say "It's almost night, i need to go back to town and upgrade before it's too late!". Like it gives you more of a warning of the changing times, rather then a sudden change of Day-Night. Also clocks are more sexier then sun/moon.

yes......an enormous clock in the sky is very realistic.....

you could put red units around it to represent inbetween night and day.......

Red unit and Yellow unit determine the time of day... and it goes around 64 little dots, I don't think you will have trouble determining the time before day or night comes up.

Just to let you known, the clock is on your minimap... not in the sky...

I just had a catastrophy! Accidently rewrited the latest file of this with an older addition. Good thing I had C17 from Op SEN have a copy a few Doodad Sectors ago, or I would have had to redo the entire continant!

Woah. Makes me rethink how I go about saving my maps. Bad outcome. Good lesson.

Ok, I began recording my guitar riffs for one of the 3 songs I plan on using in the RPG. They will be segmented and looped in different cycles to provide different feeling. They are being dropped by compression from 100kb per second, to 10kb per second, but the quality decreases slightly, and I loose certain bass/middle/treble in the sound.

I will have a World Map song which is already ready, and will constantly be rerecorded until a perfect version is complete. By the way, the songs will not be loud, they are just for background music. The second and third songs will be Battle Scene, and the third is yet to be determined. I will not go above 3 songs. Sound effects are not included with this number.

If you have any ideas for the third song, please leave a post for what It should represent, how the feel of the music should invoke, etc...

I will be adding another 24 lines + to the epic poem this weekend, I have 4 day weekend after mid-terms. Thankyou for your wait. Experementation with explosion graphics, spell effects, and many other systems are under way.

I refinished continant three and now dividing it up into the Doodad sectors one at a time, perfecting doodad placment which includes trees and bushes with sprites, mud, rocky dirt, custom and normal doodads, grass patches, and building designs.

Please stay active for the next offical update this weekend which will most likely, expand the first thread post over double the size it is now.

I'm working on some... "Doodads" for a new map idea I'm going with. Why don't you just smack me in the official Alpha testers? I'm on looking at your new works often enough. About teh banner... Is it OK if I use random pictures for the holy/evil effect, or do you want some of your terrain in it?

Even though that is so much fun to do. I made a four and a half minute song talking about a journey to the middle of the earth once. It was pretty worthless.

yea gonna be best rpg ever out there..

but then again wooden if you possibly can can you try to work on it so its one of thoes type of map which wants you to play it over and over again.. not just play it once
