The true Muslim religion is a peaceful and sensible religion. You may see only violent ones on the TV, but there's more to the world then what the media puts into that box. If you want to bring what people who are Muslim have done (and claimed to be in the tradition of their religion), then Millenium, as a Christian, those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. If your memory is a bit shaky, try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_crusades for starters. Stop running your mouth, please.

Some "muslims" and "jews" hate each other, but not all of them. But more "muslims" and "jews" are hate-driven than christians today, which was in response to shotgun's statement of how christians hate other religions.

They do. Notice how most Christians view Muslims as terrorists. That seems pretty hateful.

Christians arent Christians if they hate another human being, and arent Muslims terrorists because of their religion

Oh my lord! You did not just say that!
You see? It is a common Christian beleif that Muslims are terrorists.
No, there is nothing in their religion that drives them to Terrorism.
It was leaders, like Osama and Sadam, who interpretted their holy books differently.
Let me remind you it was, in fact, the Christians who began the Crusades.

It may have been the Christians who decided to go crusading and killing the crud out of everyone in their way, but even before Crusades, Muslim have already been vicious against others.
Muhammud may have created this religeon but it was based on Judaism. Osama may have interpretted it toward evil. So have Christians during Crusades. I know that the Christians who were doing Crusades were because there is NOTHING in the Bible that instructs them to evangelise by the sword.

Perhaps it is an indication of unreliability, in a way, that such destructive power can be yielded by interpretation of a thin book of parables and stories.

Personally, I liken the Bible to an element such as Uranium. It is harmless in small amounts, but vastly destructive when unleashed in a chain reaction. In essence, it commands untold potential for destruction, but by and large lies dormant, instead allowing its toxicity to slowly alter the landscape..

First off, please don't say the bibles crap, I consider that offensive.
Second, instead of wondoring wether its true or not, take the words in the bible and apply it to your own life and you will become a better person, even if you don't beleive in God.

Well l asked my religeon teacher about the bible and she said that the stories are not ment to be taken literally but a guide on how to live your life.

Although due to this l believe the bible is just like another book.

The Bible isn't just another book, though. It's an important part of today, no matter what religion you are. Only thing I'd like though, is if they translated it into normal english so I could actually understand it.

The Bible Is The Ultimate Truth.

Much More Evidence Than The Big Bang Theory.

Considering It Has None.

Yes, it is.

Explain, in language devoid of the whole "you have to believe.." terminology, what makes it different from any other book.

Oh oh, care to show that evidence? Although the Big Bang is a theory, it was not based on nothing. Scientists, with the technology & knowledge of today, made a theory. I trust it much more than a book who claims the Earth to be flat.

Yes, The Big Bang Theory has WAY more evidence and probablilty. But the cause is still a mystery.

Maybe the big bang created god, then he created us. Point is, if the big bang theory is ever some how proven to be 100% true, it wouldn't help resolve the argument at all.

BTW - Shorty, I'm not sure if your post is serious or not. It seems like sarcasm, but I fear you may be serious. Just trying to clarify things.
