I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I don't know where else it would go. How do people make a border in their sigs? I'm working on creating my own, but it seems so plain without a border.

I believe this should be in garbage.
About your question though, I usually just draw them, or use Flash MX and have different layers and just make a random box and stick the sig on top of the bottom layer. I'm not really sue though. I really just posted because of "read first sentence".
you could do Ctrl+A and then go to Edit Stroke then do a 3px Center(any color.) after that go to stroke again and change to inside and do a 2px(any color but different color.)
you could also do a tech border. if you want i'll make the tutorial for it. i had a link for the tutorial but the pictures in it are really messed up so it wont do you any good.
A tutorial would be great Baka. I just made this one:

That's a border, but I was thinking more like what most other people have (It's probably a tech border, I don't know) where they cut out shapes, etc.

the creative works isnt were you make tutorials and get help! you request Picture Graphics and show them off.
Well, that wasn't what it was intended for, Zombie.

how off your art, website, writing, etc that expresses creativity, and members will come in and give you opinions.
i dont tihnk the topic is made for tutiorals..
Tutorials for a creative works program such as Photoshop is completely in the bounds of what this forum is for, its EVERYTHING creative not just "Hey I have a signature rate it".
@Zombie: You need to

ing relax dude. Take that stick out of your ass and take a seat.
@MMC)Deathscythe: You can find more tutorials at
http://www.good-tutorials.com/Another good site is
Babylon Studios Just click enter forums because they still have like the Invision -400 greeting screen.
For a boarder?
Make a new layer.
Select > All
Select > Modify > Boarder [ Input whatever size you want ]
Ctrl+Del to fill with your foreground color
It wasnt MEANT for tutorials, doesnt mean they dont fit into the creative works section. Stop trying to be cool, it isnt working.
dude its sad. give up i won you lost end of story.
Thanks to SKETCHi, ShadowBrood, and TEC_Ghost for the help.

@MMC)Deathscythe: No problem man.
@Zombie: Seriously... find something better to do with your time. It seems like all you do is wander around these forums looking for topics you can start arguements in. Whats even worse is that the arguements you start are pointless. So my advice to you is; relax, get a life and take it easy. In the end, it's just the internet. Arguing doesn't make you cool.
@SKETCHi: why dont you go get a life and try to grow up while your at it?

Last I checked, you weren't mod of these forums, so this shouldn't be your concern. The guy asked for help.
