This 6 player map is a battlefield like any regular Final Fantasy game. Each team has 3 players. You can't move your characters, but you can attack, use magic, summon, and use items. I even got bored so I made an ATB (Active Battle Time) gauge for each player
. This map pretty much proves you can do anything you want with triggers on a map.
Bad News: Long dl time.

You know, what I don't understand is why some people call their battle systems 'FF Style', when they don't use ATB.
And so I am glad that you, unlike most, are.
I am not so glad that you stated you were going to do it as though it was not a part of having it be like FF. As far as I know, the 'ATB' system was included in every Final Fantasy games, except for the Tactics ones.
Proves you can do anything you want with triggers? Umm... no.
A: This map doesn't sound very complex. It's just a Final Fantasy style battle system. I thought of that idea a couple years ago.
Second, even if it
were a complex thing,
atleast as complex as my random, pointless, stupid idea of having abilities based upon location in battle field, what abiolities you have used last and how long ago, having stun, the ability to move and attack in real time, then it wouldn't prove that, it would just be an example of complex triggering.
