----Story----

So far i have come up with this:
You are Blu VanGuard, a Bounty Hunter.
You have been brought to the town of
Wayward, in hopes of finding some good
bounty to help you on your way. But not
everything is what it might seem...

----GamePlay----

Game Play is a Screen Scroll RPG: When you go to the next area, the "camera" moves to that area. Your vision is locked on the camera. The unit that you control "might" be a Marine, an Uncloaked DT, or a ghost. I havent decided right now.

----Things to do----

-Quests-
There will be about 7 quests, and some mini quests as well.

-Enemies and Bosses-
There is going to be a radar in this. When you get close enough to an enemy, and if it is your first time fighting it, it will display stats of the unit (damage, defense, etc.)
Bosses arent just going to be a unit with really high hp, the bosses will have some sort of speciality (such as the Hydra, which will attack with 3 heads that just send fireballs at you)

----Spells and Items---

--Items--
Items will be used by dropping units from a dropship. Only certain items can be gained though fighting.

--Spells--
Same as items, you just drop the unit that you want to cast. Mana will be displayed as a bar of units. Or some other way.

----Help----

If you can help me with anything that is here, post your answer.
(BTW, i use StarForge as my main editor. I dont use any other editor.)

-Im trying to make a trigger pause the game, but it ignores the pause. Why?
-Does RunAIScript work with Human players and CPU?

I dont believe I have ever seen this kind of work on SC yet. But I can imagine how you are going to do it :-). Btw what tileset are you going to use for this RpG?

Cool map.
Make the hero an uncloaked DT; I don't like ranged units much, or Terran ones.

Though, I don't care much for the idea of using the Shuttle Spell/Item system. I prefer bunkers. Hmm... I just thought of an idea!

Sounds like a new kind of map. Screen shot can't show much but sound cool. Never seen a minimap like that before.

Seems like an interesting idea, but its not actually going to be "scrolling" I think it will end up being more like flashing judging from the look of your terrain. Not that this will detract from the gameplay though. Good luck with it.

I would go for the ghost. His skills are perfect for a bounty hunter. And make it infested duran with like 50-200 hp so regeneration is in effect. Cloak, Lockdown, and even nuke all seem like they could fit.

yes the ghost does sound better and for like a vehicle you can make a vulture and make a beacon so if you wanna get in your vehicle or get out biggrin.gif
