It has came to my attention that peeps will go. "make me a cool sig" what does that tell us? hardly nothing. so i think i speak for all graphics Designers when i say this

3.Animated yes/no
4.Type (grunge...Abstract...etc)
5.Render (picture you want)
6.Colors
7.Border Yes you can say a cool one.
If the Picture does not come up soon. we don't want to do it; so don't go off and go.

I totally agree, on a forum I used to go on I was the best graphic designer (it's not saying much I know) and there we like 500 people sending me e-mails (the board was so crappy it had no PM) saying "MAKE ME A GOSU SIGGY!!!" I just started opening paint and making a random colored background that said "gosu sig" and sending them like that and then I changed my email and left the board. It was some Diablo 2 Board BTW.

i agree zombie im tired of people asking for a sig and im like wat u want on it and they like ether never reply or dont give enuf detal to wat they want

Yeah... it's a good idea, and that form should be easy to fill out and use on a regular basis. But will everyone use it? No.
Sadly, no one takes the time to look at suggestions like this before they request a signature.
And it might just be me, but I feel that making signatures for free isn't right. There should be a money system set-up here, where you get money for posting. With this money you can buy cool effects for your name or different things that will seperate you from the rest of the people here.
In turn, the graphic artists would charge this play money for each signature request they fulfill.
However the thought of getting paid fake money isn't very inticing. In most cases where signatures are paid for, most often RPG forums I.E. Diablo II. People pay in items for signatures created.
Anyway, I just think the graphic artists who take the time out of their lives to help random people should be compensated. But most often the case is an inappreciative newb requests a signature and doesn't thank the artist because he thinks graphic design is a simple process.
Sadly, no one takes the time to look at suggestions like this before they request a signature.

There are rules against charging people Minerals for Map Help not for making Signatures. And Sketch, there is a currency here at SEN

We offer help for free, we do everything for free here.
If you want to start charging for your member sigs then I will charge you for the amount of space of space your attachments and files take up. How does that sound?
If you charge people for sigs, I'd rather you dont make em at all here.

I understand where you're coming from Yoshi, but signatures arent helping anyone, if this was a photoshop help site then Id see that, but signatures are time consuming and should be considerd a luxury not a right. And if we dont charge stuff, then why do we have minerals? But ya, I see where you're coming from and I'll continue to make sigs for free cause its what I do, but just stateing my 2 cents

I program and make this website with IP for free. And I only ask for donations. Why can't you do the same? Isn't managing and programming a site harder than making signatures?

We arnet Talking about real money or how hard it is for signatures to be made, minerals are implimented on this site for a reason, as currency, so why not use it? If someone wants a really cool sig why not give the maker a littel incentive to make the best sig they can? Like your donations, if we want a better site we donate real money. I say we have basic sigs for free, and then charge minerals for more options and features and how quickly the sig gets done

If people want a better website, they donate money to us. However, at no point did we force anyone to pay up.
I never said you can't do that. Whenever you post someones signature, put a little link asking for a donation of minerals for your services. Do not request an amount or that they MUST give you minerals.
Some people give us money, some people dont. We live with it, so should you. The bottom line is, no one will ever be forced to give you minerals.
