1: Stock Market game. There is one of these on www.wc3campaigns.com and it just seems like a better game than a raffle or that lots stuff that no one participates in, also it would require intelligence.
2: Weekly terraining contests, also done on wc3c they are great successes. This will be a way for people to start to change the way we terrain our maps (waterfall anyone?). Honestly, it would be so easy, and it would increase traffic and interest, not to mention accelerate the spread of knowledge throughout SEN.

What would we base the stock market game on then?

Well MA I suppose you would base the stock market thing on the NYSE (or any other), and each mineral = $1. The new game would just be fun. They used to do it on Yahoo!

As for the screenshots, each person has a enough space to do what they want, and this would just be another feature to make SEN the best site in the business.

They could come up with new names for stocks, like Korhal Arms Dealers or Aiur Plasma Tech. I'm thinking that shares start at 10 minerals though. That way it won't be rigged for the money. They could also incorporate this with Armies, like a supply and demand type thing, or the pricing of weapons and such. So, if a certain stock is doing well, the item price might be 85 minerals. However, if it is doing poorly, it might cost 100 minerals.

No. It should be based on the real market. That way it is REAL. As for some people having more money than others, that's not called unfair, that's called the real world. If you're smarter then you will have the most money quickly.

Well, I don't really like the idea of the stock market game, I mean, It seems like a good idea, but it would be too tough to play for some of the younger members. But maybe, they should add their own stock market, and with simpler rules for the game. Like "SENStock" could be the name

Its actually a good thing. It's also good practice before you actually have to do ur own stock market things when u grow up. Once you have a good idea of how it works here, then you should have some sort of idea of what it'll be like in the real world (except in the realworld, it's a serious issue)

What about the terraining idea?

1. Unlikely... especially at the moment.
2. No, not from me. I'm sure there's more to actually do on wc3 that they could make a terraining contest. Maybe in sc2...

So why no to the stockmarket game? You could ask the webmasters at wc3c for the scripts, I'm sure that they would oblige you.

You could base the stock market off the different terran factions. Theres one that specializes in mining, the Korpulu, or whichever one that starts with a K, that can be the flagship for other stocks.

Actualy, instead of having presets, couldn't we have members create their own... um... things that people buy stocks from? It could be like... a stock of a stock. You can buy a stock of the SEN store, and then members can buy stocks from that.

I don't understand why you people don't want to make it based of the real NYSE, that would be the best idea.

Because it then has absolutely nothing to do with SEN or StarCraft. Lest we forget, this site is devoted to StarCraft and not the NYSE.

Yes but he wants to suggest an idea that can also make the SEN site more fun. It can be things totally unrelated to starcraft and/or map making
