what do u guys think about the death penilty(electric chair, poisen gas room, ext..)
like when u do something bad, as in killing someone else or doing something really bad

if they killed someone or a lot of people, they shout be put to death, feel the pain that he/she put on the other people

Yea, but one thing i dont like about death penalty is, what if an innocent person was accused and put to death?? Wouldn't that suck... ass? That would be more like murdering of innocent civilians. That's the only drawback that i can see to it.
Today's death penalties are ALOT better than before i think... back then they'd use to hang people, drown them, chop their heads off, burn them on a steak.... *shudders* just the thought of those things make me tingle

I am personally glad that Canada does not has the death penalty.
In my opinion, death penalty is worse then prison for life. For one, you know that you are going to die, and not be locked up. Second, its almost painless (if its injection). Except if that guy's christian, then he might go to hell.

personally i think if sum1 is sentenced to death, that is better than living life in prison. but here's my idea, tell ppl they r going to the chair so they r tortured about their crime in the fact that they know they will be killed, but dont put them to death, instead put that person in soletary confinement for the rest fi his/her life so that he can tell knowone. those element would most indefinatly be worse than death.

I think that the death penalty should be used. Only if there is enough information to condemn the accused. That means the judges would have to be a lot better and more strict.

I don't see the point in a death penalty, it's just another man killed...why not hire police to follow the criminal while he rolls around the town, and with restrictions on where he can go and how far. but when it comes to night, he sleeps in the jail...

i've heard sometimes that when some people kill like a child and then there just put in jail, some of the other criminals kill them, and the guards let them do it, thats not exactly the death penety put that it pretty

Ya I heard of that.
Like when they are a rapist, the other people in the jails that have families and kids, beat them up. No one really tries to stop them because the guards probably have kids also.

yeah thats what i'm trying to say, the people allready in jail don't like wife and kid killers so they beat on him and kill him and crap

Anyway, I think some one who killed another human being should be killed. That's the price for killing a person who loves other people and is loved by other people. You're not just ruining their life, but everyone else that person knows, (Family, Friends, etc.)

How would you feel permenantly waiting in the cheapest apartment in the world with a metal ball attached to your foot? Life sentence = same thing, it's a LOT worse for the innocent victim than Death.

i've heard about this one thing thats still going on, were this guy killed 3 people so everyday he has to write a letter to the 3 families and he sends $5 and a sorry note, because a lot of people didn't want him to die or something like that, man if that was me i would be emmbarassed

I am vehemently against the death penalty in almost all circumstances.
