i put the black terrain on my map in starforge, and then when i go back to the editor to do some other stuff it stuff up and when i look at it, it takes the appearence of what ever goes over the top of it, like if i put the mouse or a location over it, it stays they and looks weird. it only does it with some of em, and reallyt annoys me caus when it takes the form of the terrain around it, i dont know which bits are normal and which are spsoed to be black does n e one know whats wrong with it?

That's what happens when you put null tiles (0,0) in SF and you open the map in staredit. Instead of placing null tiles place any other of the black tiles, they will look the same way in SC and they won't have weird effects in staredit.

I think that any black tile that is not 0,0 will work. Just test it.

Yeah. It ticks me off too. Someone should program it to be another tile like (0,2) or something

In the future to use the black tiles, don't use 0,0 select a black tile somewhere in your tileset that's not at the very begining..Perhaps get one that is spacing to colored tiles.
