Dks waterfall is good and amzazing
BUt after you see people keep makign them over and over they lose their impact

I'm sick of seeing water falls too. I tried my best to get BeeR just to pick the best waterfall for the hall of fame, but aparently every good terrain makes it, original or not.

Make a Lavafall and then I'll be surprised again.

The reason people make waterfalls is because it's the easiest advanced terrian to make with isom, that looks good. Everyone should make at least one before they try something more complicated.

Not entirely true, in my opinion, some people do better when they jump right to a really complicated idea and work on it until it's perfect, as opposed to working their way up.

There are plenty of other natural landforms to replicate. It would be interesting to see like a grand canyon, volcano, mudslide, avalanche, iceberg, lavaflow, geyser, hot spring and stuff.

The reason people make waterfalls now is because everyone thought it was impossible untill I made one.

Lol... theres nothing special about Waterfalls...

In the Hall of fame ONLY DK's waterfall should be in there. All the others r copy's and they just copy the original idea. Try to come up with some others...

That sounds like a good idea, a huge one where the map is about falling off of it and collecting the coins before you hit the water...o.O sounds like a ty map idea though

I think people are making it because its in the header... which isn't a bad thing. Terrian seems to become a big thing in the last month.

I like waterfalls because they come in different varieties like some have bigegr rivers or some aare higher and wider.

You guys have to look closely at the terrain and not the overall picture.

I've yet to see a waterfall facing left instead of right.

I have, but i started it and got bored of it, so its very blocky, and the flames on buildings go away :/

Lava falls and other such should be tried once(we have like 3 or 4)

think of something new like a 80 level tower(impossable?)

the good thing about WaterFalls: people find them as easy to make and feel they have acomplished something

but people PLEASE DONT POST THEM HERE ANYMORE enless its REALLY GOOD

if you think its good maby PM it to someone (like a map makeing team member) and see if they would approve it

How do i screen shot, ive been crying for ages... i can do it, but how do i get it in a post?

Err, I posted this thread with the origional three pictures yesterday...

And in response to TRiGGaMaSTa, press the "Print Scrn/Sys Rq" button (Right next to scroll lock and F12, above instert) during a sc game. Whatever you were looking at will be saved as a .pcx file in your starcraft folder. I hope you put out some good screenies

Use irfanview or some other image editing program (not MSPaint) to open and save the file as jpeg.

Incase no one knows how to submit screen shots...

When playing starcraft press PrtScn
it should say 'Captured Scre Shoent' or something

When you done, minimize Starcraft

Open the Starcraft Folder
"C:\Program Files\Starcraft"

Look for the latest screen shot, which you can tell by Screen shot ##

Right click on the screen shot file, and select Open With > Microsoft Photo Editor

When the screen shot opens in the program, Save As... and set it to a .JPEG, and save it to wherever

upload picture on the internet, maybe http://www.imageshack.us and later delete the file.
