Over the next 100 years, what changes in the world will occur? What will be more important? What inventions will make our lives easier?
I believe that in the next 100 years the U.S. will not be the number 1 nation in the world, and that cold fusion will have been successfully harnessed to meet our energy needs.

Well assuming we don't get nuked to hell before the next 100 years I am sure there will be plenty of advancements, hopefully to meet our energy fuel, and food needs but i hope i get to live for the next 100 I am 14 almost 15 so i've got a chance at lasting that long lol

I think something will happen and we will begin to degrade in thechnologie. Loss of technologie and we start with simple basic ideas to create, what was invented now, in the future. The future might not always be even more advanced than now but maybe less.

Name an example - ever - of when technology has gone DOWN. Sure we might have periods where discoveries are few. But there ARE discoveries.

I think that we will become a great nation if we dont have people like Bush any more. If this nation keeps it's balance and stays on i think we will last. We probably will have to degrade in tech because of our resources unless... we find some in some other planet so that our tech can increase. I believe this 100 years will rapidly increase in a lot of things like tech and more tech. If NASA makes a discovery that we can live on mars, y not? if we can get to mars like me going down a block. Like me walking into a matter trans thingy majiger. well wotever, like you can see im not a science maniac but i a great at math. if some wierd guy comes up with stuff it would change the world. If some wierd crazy guy becomes pres. with his own entire group of people that would take over the whole entire governement, then bend all the rules and become "united countries" instead. Then we have a problem...

lol now that is funny. there is something bad already that happened. Bush was pres..... lol... ya wotever. There can be some bad things but most is pretty good. If you mean that bad would be world destruction lets just hope it dont happen. Let life reproduce and produce. and wotever.... test evolution wotever. i would have to say the technological age will be gone, but not before a new fuel is discovered, and i suppose, there could be primitive floating houses (sounds like an oxymoron)
id say that would happen around the 70s-80s and from 2080-2105, we will probably be concentrating on improving floating house standards
also, i would say there will only be around 4-5 languages spoken by more than 10 million people (which wont be a lot compared to the amount that will be alive by then)
lots of other things need to be thought of too, but im too lazy to write any more

New fuel? Probably would just be a refined use for hydrogen energy.

the world will cahnge draskly, because i will die in the next 100 years, well not only that, by the time most you people(ages 14-16) are 25-30 we will enter a new era, i think there will be virtual reality helmets, compter glasses(put on glasses then your on the internet or soemthing)atnd a whole much more

there is no earth in the future...therefor this post does not exist because it comes from the future, which there is no future so that means there cant be a future or else it wont be our future but someone elses future but then if they have a future we should have a future too! so in the future we will all need futures to we can have future to live in!

The pollution levels are rising through the roof and overpopulation is at teh door.
The human race will be inventing many ways that will make the world a perfect place OR the earth will rot slowly and end quickly as nuclear weapons become avaliable more and more to terrorists

Ehhh I can name one. After the fall of the Roman Empire, it was the start of the dark ages/middle ages when NOTHING HAPPENED. People went down in life styles and were set back a hundred years.The only thing that happened was war and some castles were built, but HELLO castles were already invented before the middle ages. No new inventions were invented and nothing new was discovered. People lived their lives in fear and every day was a survival to feed your family and not to get killed. After the middle ages came the Renaissance and the Humanism movement
