Hello I am relatively new to the Iternet, especially to forums. I must apologize for any apparent inconsiderations or lack of correct protocol.
I do love Starcraft however, and my enthusiasm sometimes can be a bit overwhelming to people at times. I have very limited internet access, but enjoy nothing more than playing for hours at a time on Bnet.
I am a Mathematician whose compositonal skills are diametrically opposed. I do not write well!
Most friends always kid me about my juvenile obsession with surfing, computer games, and the endless golf I've played as I am a 39 year old as of Jan 2005! What really throws most of my peers for a loop however is my absolute obsession with Baja Mexico and the weeks, sometimes months I spend in this desert wilderness. I have been traveling down that dusty peninsulla almost my entire life. Most surf spots I "live" at are miles away from the nearest civilization. This means no electricity, water, etc. Recently I have built a Solar system that will allow me to play Starcraft when the waves are flat! Possibly cheaper satelite technoligy will someday allow for me to connect to Bnet from this remote spot. If for some strange coincidence there are other Starcraft surfers that wander down to these remote corners of the Pacific, don't forget to bring your laptop and maybe we can play a few!
I am currently working on an Ai project to contribute to the single player community. It is in its infant stages but hopefully will grow. I have been welcomed by Entropy and his team and look forward to working w/ them in future endeavors.
At the moment I have a small beta version of the loader I am working on that contains of few scripts. The bulk of the installer contains Racine, BSW_Rama, and Mike Klabbers scripts at this time, but hopefully more ai enthusiasts will join.
Please stop by and check out the progress. I think a organized tournament of Ai's would be very exciting, and am outlining the guidelines, rules, requirements right now.
