Here is a fountain for my upcomming RPG 'Lantern Garden'. Enjoy!

Btw, to you it maybe doesn't look a fountain, maybe it looks more like a laser canon towards space or something, but to me it is a fountain...

Improve? Hmm.. I don't... The bottom and the middle is pretty hard to improve, maybe the top?

Well I think if you're going to make a fountain in SC you have to make it entirely in the water. People can only walk around that top part of it. And the top is a little rough, so you might want to use sprites to help cover it up a bit.

yea try to make the exact top of it barley rising from the waterso people can walk up to it and so it dosent take up a lot of room

Very creative, but the top is a little blocky.

I don't even think it should sit high on a pillar. Use some other terrain pieces and possibly some sprites or effects for water coming out of the fountain.

And place the base of the fountain into the center of the water.

It's very blocky and i personally do not like it that much...But i will give you this:
It's original.

I personally think it looks more like a watchtower than a fountain... not that watch towers are bad...

its a nice fountain, but try and make water come out of it, then its a 10 of 10, and make it more centered in the water

Stacked Photon cannons stacked attacking dt's around cannins and cannin attacks are water...

The bottom and the stand looks nice, but the top part you can clearly see that it's just a bunch of ramps sitting on the ground even at first glance.

Make the whole thing sit on top of water and I suggest using on of those spining twilight doodads for the top part.

Making invisible Interceptors fly around the water area and have them attacked by would make it look like water droplets are falling to the water. Now you have to use something else to make the droplet fall and simulate it with the droplet crashing with the water to make a really cool effect.

I think the top need ALOT of work... I agree with everything said before about puting the top in water or a better idea!!! Make the top part sprites so peeps could walk behind it still so it actualy looks like its standing still...

It seems to blend well, sort of. I think you should shorten it a bit though. Then I think you should fix the name of the thread to "Fountain."

Maybe you can imporve the bottom and add some protoss blue smoke on the bottom and something for water comming out

it doesnt look like much of a fountain but its wicked!! maybe some kind of shrine thing (like the frozen throne on war3 exp.) its really cool...

i dont think it looks to bad, the middle is very blocky, i like it though, it looks like any of the above things mentioned. it just needs a bit work, try smoothing it out. and try the interceptor things that would work well.
