Wonder if its possible to use a unit,sprite, doodad ect, to simlulate or atlease look like a staircase, if anyone has any ideas for which unit,sprite, doodad to use to do this

I think, although the map isn't available anymore, you should try and get deep blue, ask qpirate or something, because he had the staircase in the "inn" of deep blue.

There are already stairs in the game. The Stars on the Wall of the temple for jungle terrain. But if your looking for more of a "House" kind of staircase I suggest experiment with sprites. Or block terrain.

i made a stair...its ez....just cpy the temple wall and customize it...i made a big staircase across the map...though its diagonal...
were you thinking spiral?

well i think its possible to make a staircase with terrain if they made a waterfall and a temple i think he can make a staircase.

in deep blue, qpirate king used the side of a temple doodad to make the staircase. thats how im doing it also.

for installation terrain there is already a staircase...just use that terrain and try making a staircase

You could use the staircase in instalation and organize the stuff to it goes up round or just a big strate staircase. You could also use the jungle staircase from the temple. Yes, for all the people you said you can't... YES YOU CAN!!

In Installation? You can't exactly walk on sprites very well, and the stair part is left out of that sprite, you have to sue the stair doodad tiles already in Instalation.

Humm... There is no stair sprite, all I was talking about is the tiles, you know the stair that go from structure to floor.
