just made a new version of red light green light - no more getting booted the first time you die! your hydralisk (runner) restarts at the beginning of the race
my next project is going to be a combination of the madness maps (super smash brothers, all the rigged versions, and the various rip-offs that just changed names) and the battlecraft concept. you have a base and there is a middle section, you get upgrades for kills, but at each level you choose your unit type with a selector. this way, you have to use battlecraft strategy to choose what kills what, and madness-type strategy to know how to move and attack with your forces as they spawn continuously at your base
i was thinking of upgrades like this:
teer 1 (start): weak marines, weak ghosts, moderate zealots, moderate lings, weak firebats, moderate-strong kerrigans, moderate dark templars
teer 2 (200 kills): moderate rines, moderate ghosts, moderate bats, strong zealots, moderate dragoons, moderate goliaths, moderate seige tanks, moderate reavers, weak wraiths, weak scouts
teer 3 (500 kills): strong hydras, moderate wraiths, moderate mutas, moderate scouts, strong goliaths, moderate reavers, strong ultras, moderate bcs,
teer 4 (1000 kills): scourges (yay), strong air units including devs, guardians and corsairs, extreme lings, goliaths, ghosts, hydras, archons, and reavers
maybe like cash in 500 kill credits for an armageddon, 2000 kills to control enemy units, and get a civ every 100 kills for special units like a dark archon with cheap MC and maelstrom and an arbiter with good armor
also, this would be protected and i will try to think of some way to prevent feeding off allies
