Wow who would have guessed N.K. got nukes...finally.

They do like a while ago, it was said in the Time Magazine. The corrupted country had spent its money on nukes and left the economy poor with many civilians without their basic needs. They also had links with terrorism, which means those nukes in their hands are extremely dangerous.

South Korea and North Korea are very different places from my understanding.

NO One Should Really have Nukes. Japans Fault for starting it with us in WW2 IF they didnt there probley wouln't be Nukes. Nukes Are 2 deadly for any country. For All we now U.S.A has enough nukles to nuke all the other countrys. SO I dont think We should have nukes better to stick with guns. they can take out acity with one blow like a nuke.

The technology still would've been found, it might have been that we'd be in the cold war instead of the generations before us.

This was kind of guessed last year when a large mushroom cloud appeared over North Korea.

What many people are failing to see is that North Korea does not want to USE them. In fact, they are willing to sell them to make money. This is why they have the nukes, to increase their straggiling economy. Not to make the U.S. think, "Oh great, we gotta go bomb them now".

Why blame Japan for the invention of nukes? Why not blame Oppenheimer? Or Nobel? Or even the Chinese alchemists from the 8th century? Noone can be blamed for the invention of the nuke.

"'YEEE HAW!' is not a foreign policy." Now that they've publicly admitted to possesing W.M.D's, Bush is probably going to decide to go bomb them within the next 7 months. Either use the nukes to blow up the Earth, or don't have at all is my position. Technology means something that's used to help/ease everyday life. That's hardly the case anymore... Actually, researching nuclear technology has crippled the North Korean economy.

Ya, Us Americans proved that we can make bombs that will kill people in the 100,000 in just a few seconds. After WW2, USSR wanted to be the Major Superpower, so they sent their spies over here and stolen some blue prints and sent them off to USSR, but. they got caught. Then later they foundout that their too late cause they sent the Blue prints off before they got caught. Then later USSR threatens America cause, they didn't want to be told what to do. Then later America researches Nuclear power, then later built the Nuclear Missiles. Then history repeats it's self again.

We live in a time of war. nobody wants to be without protection, but protction may be too expensive or too dangerous. Spend you money on feeding an army rather than building nukes that could need an army to drop them. Nukes are no use on the ground.

Who cares if they have nukes. It's be only good if they ever use it. More wars, less people to populate our already-overpopulated planet, economy goes up, and everyone bombs North Korea. Good things.

Nukes arent bad only the people who have them are.

Okay, so, North Korea is going to put thir only nuke, on their only ICBM, and shoot it off to the US? Oh wait, they forgot the the missiles can be tracked...and the the US has more nukes than anyone else in the world. So yeah, North Korea hits one city or something (assuming the anti-missile defenses fail to kill one ICBM) and the US retaliates by wiping the whole North Korea off the map.

Smart move.

North Korea has nukes prolly to threaten other nations and make them afraid of that country. Also to show off to other nations.

Really! Lucky, you been to motherland. Have you been to Red Square? I hear it's so great over there! I have a friend who's been to Moscow, he went there for his "Mission" He's teaching me how to speak Russian. All I can say in Russian is "Da" I don't know to spell No in Russian yet. I also can say hello in Russian but. I don't know how to spell it yet. I have a lot to learn about the Russian Langauge.
