Staredit Network -> Concepts -> Moving locations by unit sizes?

Ok my idea to move locations is this.
Create 2 units at anywhere then center a 1x1 location on one of them.
Have the 2 units move to the one location (This will make one unit outside of the 1x1 location) Then center the location on the unit outside of it and move there).
This is only a theory, it could differ using different unit sizes to make it go different ways.

I dont see what use this would be... And you cant detect unit sizes... Because the bigger the unit the small location will still be on it... The small unit the big location will be on it...

I don't understand what you're trying to do...

either way one of the units is left outside of the location. (I didn't say unit sizes could be deteted) but they do make a difference in how much area they take up, meaning it will shove the other unit off.

This is quite pointless. As you can see, combining grid method and unit displacement, we can already move locations in any direction possible.

ez...give the person inside the locaton currently to the other player..then center again..and it you the seond unit centered...which was outside before.. idunno...youll have to cetner a big locatino aroudn them so it wont messed up your others units on the map...

It's best to instead of using a "unit tracker"
unit tracker* - track where the unit was and which direction it moved to add or subtract from the X or Y

use a "coordinates finder"
coordinates finder* - finds the coordinates of the unit no matter how much it moves, how fast it moves, or even if it teleports.

Ill try it , it's probably much easier and flexible.

How would you know which unit is outside the location and which one is in the location?
