1. My understanding is people are only allowed to speak english on this website. So what I suggest is adding somewhere to SEN's FAQ and to the welcome forum is
google's translation tool (:
http://www.google.com/language_tools ). Although the tool isn't perfect, it can translate german, french, spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and many more. This way, people who don't speak english very well can get on here and ask questions.
2. The picture in the middle of SEN's header can get boring after a while (but I still like it!) Why not make that picture rotate (randomly?) like the ones seen in the top right hand corner at www.starcraft.org . Please note: you have to wait a certain amount of time before the picture changes there.
3. How about changing "<insert how many new PMs you have here> new messages" to a drop down menu similar to the other drop down menus we have. This way I can compose a new PM sooner, or something.
4. Add stuff to the statics page such as, how many users have posts under x amount of posts and topics. Also add who has moved the most topics in a certain amount of time.
5. Maybe make a user have to log in two times within a certain amount of time of creating you're account in order to keep their account. I know a few people on here who joined just because they could join. They haven't made any topics, posts, nor have they made a single shout.
6. Lets suppose I want to search for a post that yoshi made. I don't remember what the topic is called, nor do I remember where it was located. He has at least 2,559 posts. (I don't know about you, but I don't want to spend more than 2 hours searching for this.) Why not make a feature that allows me to search for a post that someone made in a forum? If you don't get what I am trying to say, here is an example: (Note, you may have to register.) Search form:
http://cboard.cprogramming.com/search.php . Search result (when I searched "-ken-"'s name for "carbon"):
http://cboard.cprogramming.com/search.php?searchid=134086 . I guess you could call this kind of search "advanced search".
Although this next one isn't a suggestion, It is a question since I didn't see it anywhere in SEN's faq.
1. I have a friend who is interest in learning how to make maps. Sometimes he comes over here. I have recommended that he joins this website. So, lets say he joins SEN, comes over here, and logs in under his own account. WOuld he and I get a warning (or worse) than that? I have a digital camera that can be used as a webcam, so would we get a warn level (or worse) unless we proved that we are two different people?
