the waterfall is so-so, they are getting kinda old tho, the side of your wall thing is too blockey, you used only one tile for it, try to use more than one kind to make it less blocky
ADDITION:
oh yea, wheres that waterfall lead to?
I actually used a few tiles, but they look similar. I don't think I even need the cliff tiles, just water.
And right now, the waterfall leads to nothing. I was gonna work on it some more, just thought I'd post as see what some people think. Also, I know waterfalls are old, and I seem like a hypocrit by making one and posting against others making one, but at least mine's not entirely like DK's original.
the bridge terrain is nothing new and the stairway to the cliff is extremely blocky. the waterfall is kind of odd because like someone said, wheres the water going to?
I acaully like your waterfall idea, its more original than others ive seen
urmom, I can only see one blocky part on the stairway to the cliff, and the only reason it's blocky is because I can't walk on it if I placed blending terrain.
And the waterfall idea, I actually got the building-like thing from another thread (Couldn't find it again for reference), but it didn't have the waterfall added, just the building. I thought it seemed like a great place for a waterfall, so I tried it out!

They are pretty good but there are some problems.
1) You are using way too many sprites and I can see sprites being used where they aren't needed.
2) That staircase could be better
The waterfall is coming otu nicely but you need to chenge the tiles for the walls, they are all the same.
Hmm, all right. Iadded in extra sprites because they made it look more like a town in the time my RPG is taking place, so although they aren't needed, I prefer them there instead of nothing.
The waterfall needs a lot of editing, but unfortunately I'm at my parents' friends house so I can't work on it. >< I might just install SF and SC and remake it. I just hope it's not too much work, I can't get it back on my computer!

true, at least yours isnt in a river that flows from top right to bottom left.

Ok here's a suggestion for the sprites:
Don't place sprites where they aren't needed until you are finished with the map. You might need more sprites later on during the mapmaking process and remember that if you start creating more units in-game the sprite count will start to go up.
Eh, yeah.

ok, I'll remove all the 'extras' once I get back to my house.
Now thats a nice waterfall. Its different from all the others so it wasent boring to see it

Ugh. I redid the waterfall, and it looks a lot better than that one. But all this computer has is Paint, which doesn't recognize .SMX (or whatever SC pictures are) files, so I can't upload it to show you. :\
You can manually change it from .pcx to .jpg by opening the properties of that file.
Eh, too late. :\ I had to leave, but I updated the original one:

That actualy looks prety good... The river seems kinda small though...
Doesn't look like the kinda river a waterfall would be flowing into...
Eh, yeah. It was pretty hard to make a river any wider, so I went a simpler way for the moment.

Hehe, nice scourge shadow!
I like the waterfall because it is different from all the other ones. On the left side of the bottom waterfall make the water go around it some more so it does not look like it is touch the edge of the ground. (You probaly dit not understand that).
The left side of the waterfall looks like it's leading right into the ground? Yeah, I understood.

That was the hard part that I left out, because there would be a big area to cover up if I tried widening the river part.
Looks like you did some pretty good improvements there, now it looks like an aritificial waterfall but I do have one more suggestion for you.
Try using different tiles for the wall. You used only 2 tiles and it definetly looks like you didn't do much work on that part. Also try adding edges to the sides of the building thing.
2 tiles? The walls are 4 tiles, the one with the pole thing is one (every 2) and in between each one are 3 other different tiles (look similar, but aren't).
See at the top of the picture where you have an "overflow" leading into the first drop? Take that out and replace with plain waterfall and repost. I think it would look better without that rise.
