The Sum Of ALL Fears

-Story Line-
At the dawn of the 21st centry. Many Terrorist's are at brink of war. The U.S.A Government has tryed to stop this. Terrorist's have been smuggling weapons into our country, what will they smuggle next?A nuclear bomb perhaps? When times like these call, Only a special force can do such a thing to stop this. When you put one of the best sailors, pilot , and soldier what do you get? The Sum of All Fears :

-GamePlay-

Size : 128x128
Realistic Mode : (Optional) On or Off
4 Player Game
3 Computers
Semi-Realistic Terrain

-Description-
You and your team were assigned to infilitrate enemy Terrorist group that took force on a building. You do not know if they have a bomb or not in the building. If you choose realistic mode on, then you dont have infiniti ammo or healing. If Realistic Mode off then you have infiniti ammo and healing is on. If two of your squad has been killed then your mission is failed for having a casualty. If the alarm is set off you also loose the game. The tileset is going to be installation because it is the closest thing ever to be inside a building. Your mission will start outside of a building and you must find a way to get inside the building without setting off the alarm. You have three goals, 1 , Find information of terrorist database , 2 , Save Hostages , 3 , Secure ALL terrorist sections and if there is a bomb difuse it.

Realistic Gun sounds
Realistic Mode (On or Off)
Ammo System (needs real mode on)
FlashBangs
Scopes
LockPick
NightVision (still thinking)
M16 Grenades
Satchel's
Walking Method
Death Sounds

This is all i got so far i am using SF for my terrain because buildings are strait inside in a way. But i am about 3% done with it. I am making the map on my old computer and i will have screen shots pretty soon.

Ok what i have added to the map is team speech which means you bring a unit to a certain location and you hear like " man down " and all of that. Other wise its looking pretty good so far.

yes im basing on a semi-realistic game. its going to take quite long just for the special features i plan on doing those first before i do anything else except the terrain.

well it all depends, in the beginning of the story its like a little movie. and then at close to middle i will add another little movie and same with the end. i can only test this all by myself on the starcraft thingy so its going to be hard,.

I got an idea, if you have 4 max human slots or anything, have all 4 of them units computer players. When any humans are in the game, give one of those units to them. So say there was 4 max slots and only 3 human players were playing... which would have 1 computer unit and 3 human units. You could use that if you wanted huh.gif

ok so far i put in the team chat as " man down ", " tango down " , " we got wounded here " and other stuff. when you go there wav's play the same thing it says. And i got anti-bs

Yea, i forgot to tell you to make them comp units follow a player around as extra firepower if you wanted to.

Yes i am planning for the Beta Version to come out in at least 1 month or a couple of weaks but the screen shots will come very soon.

Ill be glad to be one of the testers, though i cant play any games the require a cd because my computer cant read my cd-rom so i dont know how long that would take to fix....im guessing it would take like 3 months. But if it gets fixed earlier ill message you. w00t.gif

This sounds like a really interesting map Hertz. I am a big fan of the whole you can't just run in and kill everything with no stradegy at all. Also will you be using manual aiming or not? I think for realistic mode you should have it being manual aim making it feel more realistic. Auto Aim just takes the realism outta it cause they just point and shoot. Also for the night vision thing why not just do something like turn off allie vision and put a burrowed unit underneath the person with night vision so they can see? Just a suggestion happy.gif

well its going to be hard in certain spots of the map like lets say you go into substructure thats basement and there is no light down there. you get blinded by a medic and then you have to use your night vision, yes i plan to finish this map in like a month or so but would you also like to be a beta tester?

ok i had to restart on the terrain because i installed SC on my new computer. And one of the special things i have added was a elevator system. How this works is by simply using a a drop ship. going to a a different sector in the terrain

yes i am taking my time i have added different and more new up to date terrain i promise i will have screenshots sometime thisweek. If i dont i will punish myself? well anyways i added something really cool. When you craw down into a basement you can enter 4 different room by crawling up into the room.
