How's it look?

Also, does SEN give credit to terrainer who made the art in the top banner? I don't mind that they used it, I'm merely wondering.

It's pretty good. Nice and easy, but unique, and not too sprite-intensive.

Only thing weird in it is that the back of the mine is the same height as the front, but the back should be higher because you see only the tops of the cave entrances.

If you remove the "cliffs" on the top of the mine, it's gonna be cool.

THe twilight sprite looks kinda outa place in there It is suposed to be a drill?
You should add in some cranes form Instilation to make it look like more
of a mine...

heres an idea, how bout you use mineral chinks as diamonds, cause it doesnt look like a diamond cave at all with one patch of minerals, but its so-so, you can make the hole on high dirt though, remember? i think that would be better that a cave on top of the high dirt

I like how the mineral is in there too.. looks cool, you could stack 6-8 like that on a melee map and call it Diamond Mine Wars, hehe .

Use the mineral chunk sprite to make it look like the walls are covered in diamonds.

I tried to make the inside of the mine, but it came out poorly. Here is the map, fix it up yourself and post what you get!

It's good but not that good.

The terrain is blended in quite nicely and it looks like regular terrain. The problem is that it doesn't look like a mine, it looks more like a mountain.
Try putting in some more detail.

I think that if you carefully placed some sprites to make it look like a construction site then it would look better. Trucks, cranes dirt piles etc.

No there won't be any names up there because it would look ugly. Mostly the Terrains will be picked out of the Hall of Fame

Incredible and very good idea. Even if you are just joking, a setup like that could really look awesome in a melee map. Anyone else have thoughts?

Nice terrain, I really like how you did it, its quite original. (Well atleast I havent seen any of this before). Keep up the good work with the terrain dude, I think you got a talent for this .

It's preatty cool, but the is only like 100 minerals you can mine from there, thats the only bad point I could point out. Apart from that it's orriginal and interesting. Good Job.

What the hell are you talking about? From that one patch he could mine anywhere from 1 to 50,000 minerals. If he stacked multiple on top of each other, such as 8 with 1500 each, he could have a completely normal base consolidated into that local mining area.

the SEN banner terrain is sooo lame not anything anyone can't do, and it overuses sprite, and not really original also

I think that diamond mine would be awesome in a Melee type map, think about it having all the resources like that in a cool terrain, instead of the boring layout they always have, just stick a gas resource there and it could sustain a whole SC colony.

I also think we need a new terrain banner

Okay, he got to it first, meaning your input really isn't neccessary unless someone was asking for a vote. Look at your last 40 posts. See how many times you said things that people needed to hear. You don't even get good minerals for posts like those, why even bother making them? I'm not butting in if I have to read your spam in half of the ing topics that I read. I notice you say that a lot to people when they tell you to stfu too.
