Can I use StarDraft or a similar program to change unit default names without using string nor/and requiring a special program to run?

Couldent you just go to Unit an hero setting's and change there names?

[center]Editing 'rez\stat_txt.tbl' will change the units names globally, not just at the map level. It also allows you to edit many other strings within StarCraft.[/center]
