I would like to know your feelings about Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hilter...Hmm, What a messed up person. I believe he was insane. Or just hated other people. I dont know too much about him and I dont want to know. Its just not healthy

He's insane on one hand, a genius on the other. Of course anyone that tries to exterminate such a hardy people like the Jews is crazy. On the other hand he brought Germany up from the ashes and almost crushed the world under his banner. He is really an evil person when it comes down to it though.

He was a genius.
He Revolutionized the way wars are fought.
Because of Him the Great Depression ended.
Becasue of Him the Atomic Age started.(He was the first to start funding the atomic bomb project)
Because of Him I am living today.
Because of Him the first computers were invented.
Because of Him lots of other things happened.
becasue of Him is why Saddamn is so insane.

Ok, He did do quite a bit and you forgot to say that he created the Volkswagon company which in german means "people's car". But did doing all that make up for the 6.5 million people he killed? Plus he was jewish also he just destroyed his past so you could call him the biggest hippocrit of all time. If that makes him great then George W. Bush is god

Hitler was not Jewish.

I believe that he was both slightly insane and mislead by the early 20th century feeling in Germany, which was 'Dislike the Jews.'

He was a poor military tactician, and it was because of his meddling with the chain of command in the war with Russia, that he lost.

There is some debate as to whether Hitler actually ordered the complete extermination of the Jews, or whether it was Himmler and Heydrich acting on their own wishes.

He was also a lazy dictator - getting up at about midday and spending the rest of the time on long walks in the forest, or poring over architectural plans.

As CaptainWill said Hitler was not Jewish but his grandfather was a Jew.



Hitler barely slept because he had some mental disorder. He would usually wake up at around 4AM and go to bed at about 1AM.

He rarely slept and when he did sleep he didn't sleep very good.
Every day he took a whole arsenal of medicine thus he had overdosage of medicines. He didn't kow this thought because his Medical Doctore gave him the pills and Hitler not knowing he has taking an overdose because he knew practically nothing of medicine took them.

Hitler believed in the so called "aryan race" or "superior race". Jews of any type were considered "inferior" and anyone with an ounce of jewish blood was inferior. Hitlers grandfather was jewish, giving him jewish blood making him inferior to germans. He also said that the true aryan rwce had blonde hair and blue eyes and everyone else wasn't as good. So yes, Hitler broke his own rules and was partly jewish.

Are you kidding me?? He's 200% insane. He's nowhere CLOSE to being great. Sending 6 million jews into their deaths, you call that fantastic?!? He's a flagrantly corrupt dictator poophead who does nothing but being just a miserly tyrant. If you think he's innocuous, you've seriously got problems...

Hitler did not kill 6.3 million Jews. It was Himmler.

Himmler was the one who directed the Camps and all those things.
All Hitler did was mark them as inferior.
Those death were made my the SS, Hitler didn't command the SS and he never did, all he did was command the Wehrmacht and the Lufftwaffe.
He didn't even run the German Nation.

ya i would tell you what i voted but im to lazy.

in some ways i like him and some i dont. for example: ever since he did that all amercians has been rude and disgracfull to germans. ive learned from expericnce. they call us crops and all that. but i like him cuz he helped us create the helicopter. he did alot bad things i know, but if it wasnt for him/other people we wouldnt have alot of the things we do now.

He was a brilliant man, just how he went about doing stuff (genocide and what not) was horrible.

That is true, he did not directly, but he started the hatred.

There is a difference between insanity and misinformed.

As a child, he was constantly taught that Jews were inferior and did not deserve to be with their lives (or something of that sort, as best as I can remember).

You see, being misinformed at such an early age will easily change what kind of a person you would have become. Hitler was a great military genious but he fought for the wrong side.

As for my opinion, I believe he simply got the wrong information and that was his failure. Overall, he was a brilliant person. Did you know he loved art?

But Hitler was responsible for everything. Even though he didn't do those bad things directly, he did indirectly. He started up the rebellion, he created the Nazi Party, he tore up the versailles treaty, and he even derided and relegated the jews. And because of how he deemed the jews as did they all die. It's all really hitler's fault.

Well ok he was taught that they were bad and inferior. At most he shoulda just sent them away or quaranteened them (as he did originally), but not mass murder them all.

What! You think Hitler did nothing? Who do you think Himmler reported to? Who gave all the speeches about how Jews needed to be wiped out and that only Germans deserved to live... If Hitler had the power to practically take over Europe I think if he wanted jews to stop being killed he could do it. It makes no sense how you could see Hitlers logic he was officially anounced mentally ill you know. Oh, and it was Hitler who ordered that the concentration camps be built all over poland and Germany... I don't get it

The Treaty of Versailles was inhummane and thats what those old French bastards get for their greed during 1919 when the Treaty of Versaille was singed.

Concentration Camps to keep the jews separated, what Hitler did there was Segregation. Himmler built the Gas Chambers.

The nazis consist of many bad people, such as SS's, who were responsible for the deaths of 6 million innocent jews.

K, maybe the versailles treaty was inhumane, but still, his wrong action into being responsible for the deaths of 6 million innocent jews outweighs almost all the good or ok things he's done.

acually the real reason why hitler killed jews is becaues his mother was sick when he was a kid and a jew doctor wouldnt help her and later after that she died from some disease.

6 million jews, and you know what, the pope was all about it, too. I'd say the pope is going to hell then, eh? Or whatever stupid afterlife crap you subscribe to. Hitler was a political genius, and got the unrelenting support of all of germany, but he was a tactical idiot. The main reason germany did so well is because in the beginning he appointed people that he knew to be tactical geniuses around him. His generals devised the blitzkreig, which to this day is the best known invasion tactic. The main reasons that Hitler failed were that:
1)later on in his reign, Hitler began killing off competent people and choosing loyalty over competence.
and
2)He was too confident in his new loyal incompetent people, who cumulatively were not tactically smart enough to prepare for the invasion. I believe it was Rommel who ended up in charge of the beaches of Normandy when they saw the invasion coming at the last moment. He knew he needed more than Hitler was going to dedicate to him, and saw that they were going down.
3)His confidence was also overshot when he drove his armies into Russia. Historically, Russian winters are known for killing off armies, and any idiot would have known better than to leave an army in Russia as winter came down. Russia seriously weakened his armies by sheer numbers and their advantage in the cold. That was the big turning point.

Other than that, he was a Catholic nutcase, and deserved what he got. The holocaust is really nothing more than a side note to the war, something that they found out Hitler was doing and the news jumped all over later for publicity. Hitler at least claimed to believe that the national funds were being locked up in the rich jews, so he shipped them off to camps and sold off thier possesions. Really, if he'd spent the resources on fighting, and used them to generate more income and more vehicles, he probably would have won.

When you are starting a way, you need support. To get support you need a few things, some of them are:

A promise. You need the promise the people something. Hitler promised the Germans wealth and power, he told them they were the superior race and they would get what they wanted.

A scapegoat. You need to tell the people what the problem is. He told them it was the Jewish.

He attacked the Russians because he needed Crude Oil. He couldn't get to the Middle East because the Canal was owned by the British.

You think Hitler didn't have the power to stop all that from happening? You act like Hitler doesn't even exist and Himmler is who everyone remembers as the biggest murderer in history. If Hitler didn't do anything wrong then why does every text document in history state otherwise? Even if we pretended that Hitler didn't kill any Jews after he knew that Germany lost WWII he sent all the remaining troops on a march to no where to eventually die of starvation or disease, and when cities in Germany were being bombed by the allies the citizens hid in sewers and Hitler ordered the sewers be flooded and his reasoning was that if they hide they weren't worthy of the aryan race. That sums up how horrible he is.

Ugh, you people are only focusing on what he did but rather why he did it.

He may have done bad things, but that does not cancel out his genius.

He had a huge army but u cant mistake how much power he had but Went a lil crazy with it.
