Where can i get custom tiles..? ive been map making for awhile but im not to great at terrain...i wanna start terraining but i just cant cuz i cant find customs
If you mean custom brushes, you can find a few posted here and there around this subforum.
If you mean custom terrain tiles, simply download StarForge or SCMDraft from the database here at SEN and it allows you to pick from every tile in that "tileset" by clicking on the terrain layer and then opening up the "pallette."
Download Starforge or SCMDraft and here you go! With them you can do everything that is or was posted in this forum. If you wan't custon Brushes, then ask people, or make your own.
i ment custom brushes...i kno bout SF and Draft im not a noob =-) k ty
You can ask people here, maybe someone will make you some of some stuff, or you can make your own by clicking on Custom in the terran menu.
Here's a simple staircase for connecting dirt terrian. If you ask one of the other advanced map makers personally, I'm sure one of them wouldn't mind giving you the brush to make temple terrian connect dirt to water. I'd give you it but I don't have SC on this computer. :\
Or, you can just make a small bit of terrain you want to repeat, go into Forge's terrain layer, cirlce the terrain, right click, and press "Add to Custom Brush"
I suggest that you download and watch Yoshi Da Sniper's Video Tutorial on how to make a Scyscraper. It teaches you about making Custom Brushes and things like that.
lol, that's how I learned,

It doesn't tell you that you can select terrain and right click and set to a brush though. That's always a useful thing to be able to do.
Cant watch his movie...My computers sound card was hacked...so i wont be learning anything unless it has text...
wtf sound card hacked?? can that happen?
Where do you find the movies anyway? is it in tutorials?
Yeah it can get hacked...unistalled...i lost the driver...so i have no sound card but beleave me...;] i got my pay back *laughs at how bad i destroyed his C drive!*
Finding drivers is easy... just go to your company's website and look for a big thing that says "DOWNLOAD DRIVERS."
You should be able to PnP it back anyway...
