STORY THUSFAR
Six years ago a tragedy occurred just outside of Helfor City. A restricted Bio Lab experimenting on viruses had a accident which caused one of the more infectious viruses to escape. The lab was quarantined though there were few survivors. Those that did survive were reported to start trying to attack other people and drink their blood. People started calling them Vampires, though they weren’t the typical movie vampire. These would move with demonic speed and were unaffected by sunlight. The epidemic was classified and any information on it was censored.
The year is 2056 and no one recalls anything that happened. My name is James Vellor and I am part of a special unit designed to fight the Vampires. We fight the threat so that people will never have to know about it. We are under the radar we aren’t even registered officers. This is our lives and we live in secrecy. Lastly though more and more attacks have been reported and they are becoming more and more brutal. Something is resurfacing after years of small incidents. Looks like we have our work cut out for us.
GAMEPLAY
Vampires: Tainted Blood is a RPG set in the future in Helfor City. Being part of the HCPD: SVU you are entitled to use any force necessary to stop the spread of the Vampire virus. Each character will have three special abilities, which will be covered in the characters section. The game will have various missions that will span the entire city and its outskirts. There will also be side quests that you can get from various places. Throughout the game people will randomly get attacked by vampires and if they die they too become vampires making it harder to play through the game. All side quests/reports are optional. In total there will be between 10-15 story missions to complete and upwards around 30 side missions.

CHARACTORS
James Vellor - Weapon - M-16 Gauss Rifle
Sex: Male Age: 23 Birth Date: June 15 2033
Newest member on the SVU force. He was born in a rural area outside of Helfor City. He uses a Gauss Rifle with bullets encased with silver to strike down the Vampires that are roaming the city. He is the shoot first ask questions later member of the group, but is still greatly valued.

James’ Abilities Include:
Rapid Fire - Temporarily unallies the Vampires causing firing rate to increase.
Grenades - Throws a grenade that kills up to 3 weaker Vampires instantly, and severely wounds stronger Vampires: excluding bosses.
Rockets - Creates a Rocket Launcher beside James which has 3 shots.
Korrina Strenson - Weapon - C-10 Canister Rifle
Sex: Female Age:27 Birth Date: February 29 2029
One of the founding members of the SVU, she seems to act as the leader. Preferring to stay as far away from the action as possible she packs a C-10 Canister Rifle to snipe off her enemies. She is also very proficient in using first aid. She has been with the force for over 5 years.
Quote - "Never leave your home without your trusty Rifle, it's your best friend. Aren't you you cutesy woosty rifle"
Korrina’s Abilities Include:
First Aid - Heals her and her fellow SVU members to the max health they can have for their level.
Head Shot - Temporarily gives Korrina to player 7 giving her extremely high damage output.
Spread Shot - Temporarily creates 2 lurkers underneath Korrina giving her the ability to hit more enemies.
Rick Spencer - Weapon - Dual Combat Knives
Sex: Male Age: 32 Birth Date: September 6 2025
The most headstrong member of the group. He specializes in hand to hand combat, but not without his knives. He uses two silver tipped platinum blades for easy chopping action. Rick helped start the SVU being one of the marines sent in to contain the original incident at the Bio Lab. He is the leader of the group.
Quote - "You ask why I use knives its for the close personal encounters and plus they double as good food cutters."
Rick’s Abilities Include:
Throw Knives: Temporarily turns Rick into a Dragoon which gives him a long range weapon.
Decapitation: Instantly kills any type of vampire: excluding bosses.
Fade: Causes Rick to temporarily turn invisible.
Derrin Rock - Weapon - Flame Thrower - Needs 2 More Abilites
Sex: Male Age: 25 Birth Date: June 6 2031
Joined the force only a few months before James. He uses a nitrogen inserted Flamethrower to fry any and all Vampires that get in his way. He does have a tendency to accidentally injure his teammates though.
Quote - "Fried or Extra Crispy?"
Flame Bellow - Derrin breaks open the back of his flame pack and causes a massive explosion severely wounding all surrounding units including himself.
Napalm - creates an observer, player has 5 seconds to choose an area, then calls in a force to burn any vampires in the selected area. - Thanks For Idea Zergling[SK]

Map sounds interesting. What other things do you need to do? Just kill the vampires? Or have you not though of other things yet.

Yeah there will be other things, it will be kinda like a mystery type game, although the main bulk of it is to stop vampires. And yes they will say those quotes at least one time in the game.

I like anything where you're killing Goths. Er, vampires. Same thing. Anyways... if sunlight doesn't hurt them, why does the guy have silver bullets? My guess is they're not all magical and crap, so why the silver?
The thing is they are still vampires, just kinda mutated and what not. It was also a precaution made by the SVU to use the Silver because they didn't know what they were dealing with. And since the silver seems to work they kept it. Oh yeah and I am almost through with the planning. I got all the main story missions planned out and the terrain started. I wanna finish my terrain and getting everything set up before I start on the trigs. If you want more background information on the map I am making a guide for it. It will be alittle more indepth.
Could add twist in game, during one of the mission's vampires try split up team so can take them down one at time. But use the lacky minions help aka " Ghouls ". Try be creative on sub-vamp bosses ^_^ which i know u can be. Maybe one of the people should have lastname of a Vampire hunter whom was first wave of the outbreak, could also find documents during missions to help them understand the vampires abit more and to create better weapons " just upgrade " to kill them off quicker. Also maybe increase maximum ammo by fusing to objects togetter kinda thing i guess. Anywoot good luck baal.

Just kinda some ideas for the last 2 abilities;
Napalm-creates an observer, player has 5 seconds or whatever to choose an area, then calls in a force to burn any vampires in the selected area.
Stim-Gives player a hero firebat to use stim with (this can only work if you haven't used both firebats apparently...).
I like the idea of the napalm thing, but the stim thing will have to be alittle different. What I could do is the same thing as James Rapid Fire thing. It unallies the vampires for you and you can stim and maul the hell outta them.
An update on status. I have no gotten over 75% of the terrain done and over the next couple of weeks I will be adding the triggers. I will be beta testing on USWest as needed.
Maybe you should make a mod for this Baal, like change unit armor name / weapon name so not basic one =) i believe easy to do. Not like your changing anything else so still be very small mod but up to you if you wish to do it.
I've always like Vampire maps, hopefully this one will come out well.

Well Mog the thing about making it into a mod is what would it add to the game really? Basically instead of the Tainted Ones having Psi Blades for weapons they have Teeth. Overall I don't think it will impact the game but it is a good idea.

-Mabe you can have the vapmires use some random abilitys and such?
-Secret Doors And Rooms?
-Secret Items that give you special abilities
Abilty ideas:
Dagger - You stab vampire and kill it - works on weak vampires Only- Uses the special Item Silver Dagger
Slow - Make all the vampires go slower - doesn't work on ghouls?

Will there be boss of any type? such as kill a certain vampire to complete a mission, king of vampires and such? If so i think i might have an idea for a vamp boss, just pm me and let me know if you wanna know my idea.
Yes there will be bosses. The main vampire boss you will fight once in mission 3 or 4 and again at the end when he has become super charged. Also I would like to know your ideas for bosses zergling that would be awesome
Will this be more of a horror type vampire map or an action type vampire map?
Well I am trying to make it as much horror based as action based. I will try to achieve this through the fact that the enemies for the most part are scarce and don't start multiplying till later. The horror part is that the longer you leave attacks unchecked the more vampires that spawn all around the map fun aint it?
Sounds extremely interesting, with the success of your other maps, I know you wont less us down on this one. I really like it how the character's have quotes and the zombie's amount grow as the game progresses. It gives a tense atmosphere to the gameplay.
Will there be a demo anytime soon?

Baal, i have an idea. I think that everytime you kill a certain amount of vampires, your weapon should get infected and force you to repair it or ditch it..
Well the thing is I have changed some of the systems. For the game to run much smoother I put in Hyper Triggers. Because of this I have pretty much ditched my ammo system and anything involving the weapons. But I could always make you ally the vampires so you can't attack them. I will take that into consideration Tor!
