So, I'm doing somethng with a couple of friends. Sort of a big deal. The guy in charge asked us to make an ID for the project. (It's on dA, so we have our own account.) that aside, something's missing from the ID I made. What is it?

Too much space at top, the white blends in too fast, and the name is completely plain (need to do something with it, not just text tool and then done).

what should I do to the font? Rexy suggested a drop shadow but you can hardly tell when I do it.

It shouldn't be too overcomplicated, as other members of the site will (dis)agree.
At the moment it looks fine, although the text at the bottom jars a little.
