Do you think computers have affected the world? If so, in what way?

Yes, computers have definitely affected the world, i thinks that obviuse enough but i'll list some ways that it has.

For one computers allow people to communicate much faster, for instance i would never be telling you all this

another thing is the fact that computers make many jobs much much easier. For instance, very large mathmaticle calculations need computers to be done. Also much work done today is managed via computer, which saves a lot of man power.

also computers have cut down the cost of many recources, for instance we dont have to cut down as may trees as we would if everyhting was managed by paper.

What kind of topic is this anyway? They affect everything from government to education, Hell, even to religion! Without computers we wouldn't have much of anything.

I mean, all the information in the world is at our fingertips, and we can get it instantly. We can achieve so much more with computers. They take our capacity and boost it exponentially.

I would have commited suicide by now...

No computers are the most useless thing in the world, computers do not allow people to commune with each other in any way, neither does it help remember critical things. It is just a useless plastic and metal block that does not help solve equations or organize anything, if we had no computers in life we would be perfectly ok and would be advanced in technology.

Ok this is kind of an obvious topic but oh well.

yes, computers affected to the world without it how would technology advanced and this is a obvious answer because mostly all the stuff we do is from computers

Hell ya computers affected the world, if it weren't for computers, there will be no games, like Starcraft, Diablo, and Warcraft. Hell, we wouldn't even be here at this website. We also wouldn't anyone like Kow, (U)bolt_head or even Xenomanic. That's how bad computers affected a lot of peoples' lifes. Hell, I won't know who even created this thread.

what exactly would you watch on a sen channel?
it would make life a lot easier (school wise) without computers, but thats the only good thing i can think of

OMFG! there is nothing to change the world more than the creation of the computer(not really but it is a big factor). Before computers guys did not know about the female body until the birds and the bees talk or sex its self. It has its benifits aswell though you can also transfer, share, and find information and other things of the nature. There are really only two super important things the computer has effected the world doing and those are:

1. Increase knowledeg of technology, thus expanding education to unreached parts of the world

2. Spawned a world full of perverted pre-teen boys, more worried about porno than learnig and becoming educated enought o sustain a good middle to upper clas life.

We also could not play Starcraft.

Ok, i think the computer is an amazing thing. I have TERRIBLE handwiriting and i type all of my stuff up on the computer. It is even better if you need to do a report and dislike going to the library. The bad thing is that if you look on the web i bet there are over 1000000 websites pretaining to negative sex (ie pornography and other things gone unmentioned). Also, we would have one less source of enjoyment.
