I was just hoping for a better editor with more conditions like when a certain unit's hp reach a point that will trigger something or when a bullet shot by a terran marine land on a place that will also trigger something.

[center]There's always going to be new editors comming out, but none that can give new conditions/actions to the game. Those are hard coded into StarCraft itself. The only way to get new ones would be through a mod. Sorry.[/center]

Yeah, maybe scmd2 will have the ability to launch nukes from halfway across the world too.

The new editors may have more features, but not more triggers. But if you really want that ( Im guessing you are using it for bullet system? ) You can use the trig
Kill one unit.
Adds # minerals.

Some one will eventually make a better editor, But I doubt that they can make more conditons, And other thing's.

Heim is planning on adding more actions to SF 3.0 (if it comes out) but only by interfacing with complicated trigger systems.

They might actually make a new one. You never know. You should send a letter to them asking them about it, or make some suggetions like: are there any new map editors in progress? Are thinking about making a new map editor? Could you please for the love of god come out with a (not the original is bad it works fine for me) new map editor? They might actually respond, maybe they will send you back a real hand signed letter or something.

if you mean blizz, the one time they messed with the map editor since BW came out they managed to break several features.

they arent active much anymore are they? cause im a meber there...and a few months ago there were only a few peopel left...
atleast in the map making group....
anyways, why doesnt someone make a mod that everyone can use? itd be a great help lol...

You can't make a mod that everyone can use unless they have the mod themselves. It is like playing another game with starcraft on multiplayer.
